Surf City Five & Ten

I own a home on the mainland, but always look forward to finding a cute light sweatshirt proclaiming Surf City, and I have worn them all over the world. Prices are always reasonible. So sorry to have missed you guys in November —it was warm, so I hoped you’d be there. Please consider mail order!!!

An interesting, eclectic and somewhat unusual store in this, the 21^st century. It’s too bad because we could use more places like the 5 and 10.
A little bit beach store, 5Below and Walgreens, this place has a little of everything: paperback books, beach chairs, candy, sundries, hardware and LBI sportswear. How many stores have hammers and flip-​flops?
There is a big selection of apparel, reasonably priced. They also had some shits which said «Surf City» which (surprisingly) was hard to find. Most places have LBI on their shirts.
They have parking in front on the street and on the side of the building.
On your LBI Vacation, be sure to give the 5&10 a go.

Always love coming in here as a treat for the kids to get a souvenir or treat, (and Hermit Crabs and cages – great selection) and for us to get supplies without stopping at the supermarket! Also bought some great LBI wine glasses for 2/​$ 7 (now priced), but end of season got for less last year :) Great addition to our beach house barware.

I came here to buy a water tube and left w an inflatable boat! they have the biggest selections of beach things from beach toys to chairs at the lowest prices on the strip. The staff was helpful and even offered to inflate my boat for free when i was about to buy an air pump for it.

This is one of the better souvenir shops in LBI. They have all the clothing on one side and the other items on the other side. You will be able to find beachy items or something to remember your time in LBI. Prices are much better than other shops & they usually have pretty good sales. Definitely stop here for all your souvenir shopping.

I have now visited this place a few times while staying in Surf City and it is awesome! Not only has it been there since the 50’s, it is loaded with all sorts of stuff from beach toys to knick knacks and puzzles and beach chairs and towels and everything to make your stay here just a little nicer. You can find a hermit crab or shells or sunblock plus the staff is helpful, friendly and treats you like family! It sits on busy Long Beach Blvd in the heart of Surf City and is really the only place to go if you want stuff for the beach or the house. They even inflated our newly purchased raft/​boat. This is a treat for everyone and they even have some hard to find stuff. Make it a point to stop in and purchase whatever you need since it is on the way to the beach!
