Good selection of clothes at a reasonable price. You just can’t beat the outstanding customer service provided by James. It’s great to have a shop of this quality in Angels Camp!

Really terrible experience. Granted, I was shopping for a dress closer to my wedding date than probably most people they see, but the staff person who helped me was so utterly rude that I ended up leaving the store crying. She was borderline belittling, had a sneer on her face the whole time, would leave for 20 minutes at a time when she was supposed to be pulling dresses… she was just so incredibly rude that I finally just told her thank you anyways and left. I had gone in several times before that with my mom while she shopped for a dress, and the older woman who helped her then was very nice, so I can’t say the whole store is bad. But I was so aghast at how rude the woman was who helped me when I was shopping for a dress that I will absolutely never set foot in that store again.

Just bought my bridal gown from the clothes mine! It was a great experience and Cathy was amazing! I tried on dresses at other bridal shops but they literally wanted me in and out and didn’t care if I found anything or not! Cathy helped me find my dream dress and let me come in 3 more times before finally purchasing it! I love shopping local and I love this shop!

I was fortunate to grow up in Amador County and have the opportunity to shop at the Clothes Mine for my formal wear in high school. I was also lucky to have been able to buy my wedding dress from the Clothes Mine. Cathy and her staff were fabulous and helpful, The bridal boutique is filled with a wonderful and wide selection and if there isn’t something there you want they are willing to help you find exactly what you are looking for. The staff also went above and beyond, always checking in with me about my wedding and how I was doing. They went above an beyond in helping me find a jacket to wear at my ceremony that matched my dress. Please disregard any negative comments about the Clothes Mine, the comments were personal problems, not problems created by the Clothes Mine and their fabulous team. I love the Clothes Mine!

Bridal maybe, tuxedos NO. Depends on who you get. I got measured. Paid up front. My mistake. Never pay all up front. Make sure you allow lots of time before your event so if you’re not happy like me you don’t get the too bad so sad attitude. When I picked up my suit had me try it on and the sleeves looks terrible. All gathered and bunched up like elementary sewing. VERY noticeable and the lady was so touchy got an attitude and the response is too bad soo sad. Drive a few more miles and deal with somebody that actually wants the business. To late for me as I’m stuck and I’m sure it’s all my fault cause of the time and that I measured wrong and that I sent the too big jacket with the long sleeves. Sorry but I can’t recommend this shop.

Don’t be mislead by ridiculous one star ratings of disgruntled «bridezillas», this is the best clothing store for bridal parties in Amador County, as well as for plus sizes and casual clothes, and has been for many years. When my son married recently, I made the big mistake of searching all over the Sacramento area for a mother of the groom gown of specific colors, with NO luck and a lot of hassle, only to find the very thing I wanted at this local shop and at a fair price to boot. Was my face red… and I still am annoyed with myself every time I think about it. The shop is not huge, but it’s very likely to have or to be able to get exactly what you want and it’s great that they carry all sizes. Go there first like I should have done, and if they can’t help you, all I can say is GOOD LUCK. Based on the experience I had, you’re probably gonna need it.

Horrible experience with the clothes mine bridal. Louise the owner should not be in the bridal business, she does not care about you or the importance of your wedding she just wants to make a buck. She has dresses in that shop that are very old styles… and what happens is she doesnt tell you how old it is so then when you order it the company sends it and it looks Nothing like the sample you tried on, believe me i know. Then she just doesnt care to even try to fix it she just wants to make up excuses because shes lazy and doesnt want to deal with you, so then you have to take matters into your own hands and call the company yourself (which is her job) but you have to cause she wont call and just wants to make excuses. Then proceeds to tell me that i can’t ask for to much… UMM excuse me but this is my wedding and im not going to settle for a screwed up dress even though you would let me.(your wedding dress is one of the most important parts of your wedding) Long story short i did not take the dress and ended up finding a great dress by maggie Sottero at a shop in Modesto. So WARNING do not order a dress from Mary’s and especially do not order from the clothes mine bridal shop.

Very helpful staff. Kathy is great! I had a wonderful experience getting my wedding dress, a couple of hiccups that were NOT their fault, and they still strived to give me a great experience (which they did). I found the perfect dress for me, looked at the price tag and was bummed, BUT then I went on the manufactures website and contacted EVERYWHERE that sold this dress. Guess what? The Clothes Mine was the lowest priced places in 250 miles. Wedding dresses are not cheap, if you think the price is too high then go to Davids Bridal where the taffeta dresses fall apart while your walking down the aisle :) THE CLOTHES MINE IS A GREAT PLACE!!! Oh, and I looked amazing in my dress!!!

Bridal gowns are ok priced, but they will sneak in junk and broken jewelry during your excitement of picking out your dress for your special day! Thats what happened to us then had to buy new jewelry in Folsom, actually much nicer quality and cheaper! So we get home and put the necklace set away for a few weeks to take it out the week of the wedding and parts of it are missing (they had wrapped it in tissue while getting changed so we never saw it in packaging). When we asked for a repair or replace they said is was as is becuase it was damaged. When we contacted Tracy there (the manager) she said she would issue a refund but the file the old fashion way… it would take a few weeks. They only have a few customers a day, even with their invoices in a pile it should only take a few minutes. I gave bankinfor and transaction info and still we wait.
Beware of their merchandise and sneaky sales. LOOK OVER what you buy, many peices have deficiencies which they won’t help you with. Good luck shopping here.

Nestled away in the hills of Amador County is a beautiful bridal salon with gorgeous gowns in EVERY price range. My mom took me to the Clothes Mine one day thinking it was a gown cosignment shop. And it sort of is. But it’s sooo much more than that! Not only do they have fabulous non-​bridal finds, but they have discounted gowns ($ 99 and up) AND a full bridal boutique across the corridor with all the best designer gowns as well. We hadn’t made an appointment that day (since we didn’t know we needed one) but the sales staff was still just as happy to help us. Tracy is a bride’s dream come true! She is more concerned about seeing a bride’s face light up when she finds the dress of her dreams than making the sale. She genuinely cares about keeping brides in their price range and helping them find a gown they love.
