The best pizza place in the world. Period. It’s always been a great local hangout and is constantly busy for very good reason. It’s the best cheese pizza on the planet. Other food is excellent as well. Affordable. Fast. Friendly. Tough to beat anywhere. To top it all off, from its start, Tony’s has been a huge supporter of the local community.

If you are driving through Sutton and need a place to grab a bite to eat, Tony’s is a good place to go. You can call ahead and have your order ready, or order in because there is always a place to sit in the expansive seating area. The fried chicken sandwich comes out hot and tasty. The tuna melt is huge. The staff is kind and helpful. For a quick meal, you will have plenty to choose from and everyone should be able to find something they like.

Asked for an Italian with everything and hot peppers, got mostly onions with banana peppers. The meat was all the same color. Not a quality sub. Regardless, I ate it, but I won’t order another.

My experience at Tony’s yesterday rejuvenated my interest in updating my Unilocal reviews. We were on a trip back to western mass and found ourselves hungry in the«middle of no where.» I opened my Unilocal app just to see what popped up. Tony’s was one of the few places easy to pull on/off the main road though it was only rated 3 stars and looked to have a lot of mixed reviews, we didn’t expect much going in. The place was bumpn’!! This is not your fancy wood fired thin crust gourmet pizza, nor is it New York style big gooey slice of pizza nor is it chicago style for your deep dish/lot-o-crust folks. You have to know what KIND of pizza you are getting and judge it based off of that type of pizza. This honestly reminds me of a classic yummy, 80’s style pizza oven pizza at the local bar/restaurant that I often experienced in the midwest(wisconsin). I understand this to be what many call«greek style.» The crust was a mix of chewy/flaky but between a thin and medium crust. The toppings and cheese, I thought were pretty yummy and a classic fountain cola hit the spot. Now, I can’t speak to all the other food there but if you know the TYPE of pizza you are getting, this ranks up there in that category. It’s unfair to compare this to New York style, Chicago style or gourmet — this is just another style of pizza. Again, I am brought back to my childhood in the 80’s eating this pizza and gone are the days of the classic pizza oven. This would be a great place for a take out pizza for the drive in down the road!

The grilled chicken and pasta is one of my favorite things to order here. Plenty of fresh chicken and pasta. The sauce is also very good. The steak and cheese sub is also very good. The fries are ok, they seem to change the type of fries every now and then. There is plenty of room to eat inside, with tables on the main level and more tables downstairs.

Fries are good. Pizza is mediocre. Coming from New York and visiting the best Sutton has to offer, this was a pleasant surprise.

Whenever I mention I’m originally from Sutton people always go «Oh, so Tony’s Pizza!» and I can’t help but cringe. I grew up eating at this place, after every soccer game, track meet, etc., but it’s Sutton, so it was really the only quick option. It’s unfortunate that when people think of Sutton, they think of a pizza place… However, for people who are used to central MA pizza, Tony’s is probably alright. After moving to NY I’ve become quite the pizza snob, and have a difficult time eating any pizza when I come home. When my family does go for pizza, we usually go to A&D in Millbury, which isn’t bad. Tony’s fries are good, but obviously not a reason to eat there.

Just another Central Mass pizza place, but with the exception that this one has a bizarre cult like following, which is unwarranted. Been here twice and that was enough for me. I’ve said it over and over again in my reviews, Central Mass is not the place for pizza. If you were raised on NY thin crust, its like being in prison. Tony’s has the standard Greek style thick greasy pizza. Yuk. The rest of the food is fair. Had the chicken parm, which was overbreaded and the sauce was meh at best. Not for me, but the Massholes around here love it.

Wasn’t a terrible experience but definitely not as good as we expected. I got a garden salad and it had egg in it, I asked for another one without egg and received another one quickly. We got beer, asked for bottles, got them in cups. The fries were just«eh.» Someone ordered a sub and the bread was way too hard, even though it was toasted. The people who worked there were very nice… They knew a couple regulars who came in by first name. Maybe we just ordered the wrong food.

I would always drive by this place on my way to and from Umass Amherst. I had always heard good things about it, but never had the time to stop by and try their food. However, my family was helping me move back home from school, so we decided to give at a go. The place has only sit down and take out there is no delivery. They have an extensive menu that mostly focused on their pizza, but has a large selection of sandwiches to choose from as well. I decided to go with the Reuben sandwich because it is one of my favorite sandwiches. The food did take a very long time, but the place was busy which made me confident the food must be good. The crowd was a mixture of old, young, and a bunch of teenagers. When the sandwich came it looked like it had been in the panini press for too long. The sandwich had a generous amount of corned beef on it, but way too much Russian sauce. There was a limited amount of sauerkraut, but I actually like when restaurants are light with the sauerkraut because it can over power the sandwich. The sandwich I would give a 6⁄10 I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again, but if I was in the area I would get it. If I ever go again I want to try their pizza because I saw a lot of people ordering it and it looked amazing. My parents both got salads and they looked pretty basic, nothing special.

So far so good! Finaly a pizza you can taste everything put on. Overall a better quality ingredients! No greasy and no heavy stomack after 4 slices! Feel full but not heavy! The last star left behind will fill up after a couple more trial for consistency. Thanks Tony’s pizza

Our first and only visit and we ordered the spinach and feta pizza. The crust was decent but the globs of frozen spinach were a huge turnoff.

This is the place I consistently think of as «home cooked». The food has been wonderful every time Ive had it. I order a lot on their website and even adding/changing things to different meals and have never had a problem. I recommend this place whole heartedly! They have two floors, the downstairs being perfect for larger groups. They do serve beer and wine if youre eating in, which is makes it feel a little nicer than your average pizza joint. Great selection and super accommodating any time Ive been in.

It seems that if a small town in the Northeast or the mid Atlantic has a restaurant at all it will be a pizza place. Sutton is no exception and Tony’s is the place. Actually Sutton fared well in this as Tony’s isn’t a bad place. It’s big, clean and airy. Staff is friendly. I had the steak deluxe. Not bad, but as I have spent the last 4 years looking for the best cheese steak in the Philly area, the standard is quite high. The best thing about the sandwich was the roll. The light toasting crisped up the crust perfectly. The fries were good but I’m kind of negative on dusting them with flour, if that’s what it is, to make them more crispy. MK had an order of meatballs that she loved. Then again she’s never met a meatball she didn’t like. One small gripe, soda refills at the machine were $ 0.50. Somehow I can’t see that as a profit center. If you’re in the area its not a bad place to stop…

Have ordered from here before but has been a long time. Sent hubby over to get us some subs since I remember loving the famous Italian sub. It was a long wait he finally got home and my sub was far from what I had asked for. I just asked to add mayo & mustard and skip on the tomatoes. Sub was missing a good portion of the things that come with it and it was covered in mustard I mean they must have used the whole jar. It was not edible. Then I opened the bruschetta we had ordered and it was disgusting looking and smelling it was covered in feta and just sloppy full slices of tomatoes. Not a bruschetta. I called and the manager was quiet said he was sorry and gave us a credit. Was not sending husband back since it was not worth the chance of poor food again and well if they decided to be wise about the complaint. Hubby’s sub was fine. Never will I waste my time going there again.

Good: Italian sub, burger, fries, pizza Bad: chicken parm sub(seriously, WHY use frozen chicken patties?!?) Decent: salads Prices: good. Only $ 1 more for large sub vs small Décor: on point for the area. The place is always busy. Service: very nice. I always want to tip but they don’t accept tips at the counter. Please, Tony’s, opt for real chicken… it’s embarrassing

The Italian Sub was huge and had bologna so I was a fan. I added banana peppers. The buffalo wings were good but just beware they’re a dry rub, not saucy. Overall everyone was real friendly, the food was above average and I’d come back.
