So, I had to see Dr. Long Nguyen for the dreaded colonoscopy. I was as nervous as a cat in a dog fight although the initial contact went very well. Dr. Nguyen was very reassuring and comforting as he educated me about the process. This was actually my third procedure but each time it is different because I have had it done in three different states. The prep was emotionally draining and actually the worst part of the whole process. On the day of the procedure I recall being introduced to the anesthesiologist who then stepped way from the bed. As I waited for him to return I found myself getting a little anxious when he gently touched my arm and said, «We’re all done». BEST COLONOSCOPY EVER! I received an immediate verbal and written report from the doctor and got a clean bill. Yaaaaaa!
