ISIS Ob/gyn

This is a midwife group, supported by 2 doctors. They share call with Providence Midwives and deliver out of North Fulton I LOVE them. I switched to them after my last OB informed that if I wanted a less invasive birth, I needed to wait to come to the hospital until the last minute. What I like about ISIS midwifery is that they respect your decisions, and will support you in having whatever kind of birth you want — medicated or not. When I go in for an appointment I am seen on time, which is a HUGE benefit over Intown Midwifery. It’s worth the little bit of an extra drive to the hospital and Alpharetta to know that I’m going through this process with a group that respects my time during appointments and will support my wishes to the extent possible, when my baby will be born. All of the midwives I have met so far seem great and I have no concerns about any of them.

After deciding on a natural, drug-​free birth during my first pregnancy, I discovered Dr. Frederick and Lori at Isis. I must say they are AWESOME! The office staff is great as well. I loved being able to see the same people every visit. Denise is an awesome nurse, and the phlebotomist (can’t recall her name, sorry) was gentle and fast. Tori at the front desk is not only friendly and personable, but she remembers each patient by name. Definitely worth the 45-​minute drive up 400!
