Have not enjoyed the pizza since the ownership change. It is no longer true NY style and is really not good at all for the prices they charge. Won’t go back

So disappointed… This WAS my favorite pizza shop in Suwanee we’ve been buying here for years. The new ownership has changed everything the pizza is smaller, greasy and made with obviously lower quality ingredients. It’s as if they bought the place but had not idea how to make pizza. It’s disrespectful for them to use Brooklyn in the name as there is nothing that resembles Brooklyn or quality pizza here anymore.

Ordered two pizzas to be delivered and they arrived in about thirty minutes. They tasted great and my kids thought they were the best pizza they had ever had. Will definitely order again!

Oh my! What happened to this place? The pizza used to be good, now it is worse than school cafeteria pizza! The crust was raw under the cheese and the crust on the edge came off after one bite! I could not eat this crap and left! After waiting 5 minutes for someone to show up at the counter, I saw the waiter wipe a plate with his shirt before giving it to another customer. Nice touch!

The pizza was actually better than I expected for the area. However, some major things wrong. 1) Not enough sauce. The pizza was basically dry. 2) The crust was made by folding the dough over, and maybe even sticking it on after rolling it out. It could actually be peeled off from the rest of the slice. Very bizarre. 3) I could see the pizza oven from my seat and the cook opened the oven every couple of minutes to pierce so many bubbles, the pizza could’ve been the Elephant Man’s head. I have never seen so many bubbles in a cooking pizza, and I assume the constant opening of the oven led to number 4) uneven cooking. The bottom was black(I don’t mind a dark crust but I know many do) and the top was a bit raw. I think the opening of the oven meant the bottom was in constant contact with the hot oven bottom, but open to the air, so the top wasn’t cooking at the same time. Aside from the food, the restaurant was like a typical pizza place up north. The staff was so depressed acting I wouldn’t be surprised if they committed suicide after we left. I will try it one more time on a busier night, when maybe their better cooks and staff are working.

Tried this place twice and was disappointed both times. The last time we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and cheese sticks and both were severely burnt. Half of the cheese sticks were black and the pizza was black around the edges. This place won’t get my business again.

Pretty exceptional pizza place in Suwanee. They make everything fresh and I love their crust! Soft, perfectly thin but also crispy. Just how I like my brickoven pizzas. The inside of the restraunt has a very chill, low-key kinda vibe. Great place to go with some friends or a quick family lunch or dinner.

I had a slice of pizza here one day and it was awesome! I think the best pizza i have ever had. The crust was crispy and really good and the toppings were fresh and delicious! I’ll definitely be going back and while they don’t deliver to my area it is worth going to pick up!

Great pizza place. I’m not an expert with NY style pizza so can’t comment on that. I’m still looking for a Great Chicago Style pizza place. While looking for Chicago style pizza area, we found this place through Unilocal and We decided to give this place a try and we loved it. It is a great pizza place, the slices are big and it is delicious. We still have not found a great Chicago Style Pizza place but as for pizza, this is our GOTO place. We love it! The Wings are good too as well as Garlic knots!

Flat out watched the cooks eat some of my food — twice — while cooking it. The manager was beside him and laughed AND they acknowledged me watching them! Not only that but it’s so greasy it leaked through two bags(paper and plastic) onto my car driving home.(Ordered a cheesesteak to-go.) if you like dirty fingers in your food, this is the place to go. Wish I could give it 0 stars.

I like this place. My 5 year old said this is the best pizza we’ve had since we moved here in July. So far, I’d agree. We’ve tried several places, and we like some of the chains once in a while, but we’ve been looking for a mom and pop joint close to home. This is NY style pizza with the thinner foldable crust. The slices are huge and the sauce is good. I liked the texture of the crust, it’s what I expected. We also ordered garlic knots, and we got a lot more than I expected. They are small than what you’d expect, but they give you a good amount. Plus they are easier to share this way. The service was quick and the pizza was hot when I picked it up. I’d definitely go there again.

Priced charged was not the posted overhead and website prices. Got a refund on that. Asked for extra sauce and one topping on each half. Got home no Extra sauce, topping on only half the pie. Bottom crust burnt top of crust mushy. I cannot even recommend their weird name. Sorry this is not N.Y./N.J. Pizza.

Good pizza not the best I’ve had. It’s similar to New York style pizza that being the size of the slices but not the flavor or the toppings. Staff is friendly!

We ate here for lunch last Saturday. Upon arrival I think the girls running the register were both new. She greeted us and was rather friendly. Had all good things to say about the food. We ordered the margarita pizza. I had the Greek salad and we both ordered water. We paid for bottled water but they were out. So we got water from the fountain.(No refund of $ 1.50×2) My Greek salad was delish. Dressing was good. We got our pizza and it did NOT look appealing… ATALL. The tomatoes looked kind of yellow and not ripe. And the juices from them made the pizza soggy and it dripped off when you picked it up to eat it. The basil looked and tasted old and did not taste fresh. The sauce didn’t seem like homemade to me. It tasted like ragu. My fiancé is from Brooklyn and he said it was NOTHING like New York pizza. We won’t be returning. And I work right by here. It would have been nice to know there was a good lil pizza spot in walking distance. But nope. The only reason they got 2 stars is cause the girls up front were friendly. :)

«Leave the gun. Take the cannoli» Went there with a coworker, for lunch today, so not able to speak to their delivery service. Found the dining area to be clean & tidy, if not a little bit empty for prime-time lunch hour; c’mon, folks, this place is a primo lunch destination. Should be way more traffic in this joint. Anyhow, my friend and I both ordered the 2-slice-and-a-drink lunch special, got our drinks and sat down to await our pizza. I like how they offer real(well, plastic, but at least not disposable) drink tumblers for beverages. Our pizza came out in very short order(not surprising, given that we were the only diners at the moment), served on pizza pans. Mama Mia, what a crust. Perfect bite, and just the right amount of crunch to it. The Mozzarella is the real-deal on their pies as well, a welcome touch. If I had any nit-pick about the place, it is the Sinatra music that they play in the dining area. Hey, don’t get me wrong, I’m not bashing old Blue Eyes; I’m a fan. And, I am well-aware that they’re trying to play up the Brooklyn theme as much as possible, and I have to admit it’s even a little kitschy for a few minutes. But, some audio-ambiance that trends at least more towards the latter half of the twentieth century would be welcome. Shakers of parm & crushed red pepper are right-at-hand, on each of the tables, as well as extra napkins, another nice touch. Service was great, as we were approached twice after getting our food to make sure that everything was to our liking. They got hearty thumbs-up from both of us both times. The slices are… well, Brooklyn-style(read: huge), so even a healthy appetite is going to leave stuffed-full after their lunch special. And, on the off-chance that you actually have room left after devouring the generous portions of pizza? They have cannoli. Plain and chocolate. Ummm… uhhh*yeah*. Definitely show this place some love, Unilocalers; I want them to be around for many more lunch hours to come. And thanks, Brooklyn Pie Pizza, for a great lunch today.

Came out here because our friends invited us. I have to admit, I had never even heard of this place before. It’s in a little unassuming strip mall next to a StatesFarm and a nail salon. The décor is minimal, yet pretty inviting. We were the only customers there for dine in, but there were quite a few people picking up pies as well. We decided on an order of 20 lemon-pepper wings and a Brooklyn pie, which is basically your supreme pizza. The pizza was HUGE! Unless you have a party of at least 4, I would recommend getting a medium. The crust was nice. It didn’t have the floppiness of other NY style pizzas, and was stable enough to hold all of the toppings(i.e. nice foundation!). However, there were some parts of the dough that was close to the edge that could have been cooked just a smidgen more. The sauce was pretty good, you could actually see the large specks of pepper and basil. Our friend told us that everything was made from scratch here, which was nice. I did not like the wings, but that is only because I don’t like lemon pepper. I ended up tearing some of the skin off(because that’s the most unhealthiest part anyways!) and eating a few. All in all, it was a decent place. But I doubt I will be back cause it’s just so far from the house.
