I originally intended to go into another restaurant but ended up going to Dae Bak instead. I went by myself but I was warmly greeted and I was seated at a lonely table for 2 people. The waitresses spoke English and although it was just me in a corner, they didn’t forget me and checked up on me often. A lot of dishes were for more than 1 person so I opted for a cheaper and smaller meal(next time, I’m bringing my husband so we can try out their other dishes!). I got one of the fish specials, which was mackerel, ricw, and bean paste soup; I also got 6 side dishes. It was good portioning for just one person – not too much but not too little – and I left feeling satisfied and just right instead of overstuffed or still hungry. The cost for my meal was around $ 9 and some change, which I think isn’t bad at all. Will definitely be coming here again.

I was pleasantly surprised with Dae Bak’s various menu items. They had a lot a lot of vegetarian options for myself and plenty of meat dishes for my boyfriend. The food was spicy and tasty. The service was fast and we left full and satisfied :) If you enjoy authentic Korean food I strongly suggest checking this place out!

Been looking for a place on Old Peachtree with decent Soon Doo Boo, think I found it. The soup has good flavor, and has a good spice to it. Wasn’t as spicy as I would’ve liked, but was the best in this area so far. The tofu was a little soft… I tend to like it a little more firm. The service was very good and attentive. The environment was nice. The restaurant feels open, but you still feel like you have your privacy. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent place to eat in the area.
