Papa John’s Pizza

We ordered a pizza on a Sunday night. It took forever. I guess they were busy. I was told it would be ready in 35 – 45 minutes. We picked it up in exactly 45 minutes and it was dried out like it had been sitting out for half an hour. The ingredients were skimpier than I’ve ever had on any pizza. Most slices had only one piece of pepperoni. A couple had 2. Only one piece had 3 pieces of pepperoni. There were 2 – 3 olive pieces on each slice and I couldn’t find the mushrooms. The crust was awful. Usually we keep left-​over pizza to eat with scrambled eggs for breakfast, but this one wasn’t worth it.

I like Papa Johns over Dominos and Pizza Hut any day, but this spot in particular has given us problems at our house and nearby at friends. Delivery problems where they get us the wrong thing and then don’t seem to be able to fix it. The last time they messed up the order we get offered a free 20 ounce drink. Another time the brought the wrong thing and because they were busy when the brought us the correction it was cold. The other was a birthday party we were at and nothing was done to fix it, so while I hate with a passion people that give one star for their one bad experience this place has failed us three times with things that should have been corrected. While the process is pretty simple and they all is the same SOP this spot is not on point.
On a note about PaPa Johns in general I enjoy their pizza much more than the others and really feel like they have a much better product. From the cheese to the sauce to how you feel after eating it I will always pick this spot over the others, but hope this location in particular can get to act together.
