Pestrong

We ordered two 50 lb. bags of Osmocote fertilizer to be delivered to our home in MD. It came, great price, no problems. So when we came down to our home in FL (we’re snowbirds) we ordered another bag to be delivered here. We checked the box that said the billing and shipping addresses were the same (both FL), and left the comment box empty. However, they shipped the 50 lb. bag to the MD address, and the invoice showed the comment about delivery to MD from the first order. We contacted Pestrong about having UPS pick up the box and redeliver it, since there’s nobody at the other house for the next 6 months. When my wife got Mr. Lee on the phone he started screaming at her and accusing her of filling out the wrong information. He later calmed down and offered to let us ship the bag back to him when we get back in 6 months, but we told him we doubted it would still be there.
So we decided to just eat the bag he shipped incorrectly. Maybe one of our neighbors could put it in our garage for us. Then we tried to order another bag to be sent to the FL address. He refused to do business with us. I think his biggest issue (besides his inability to listen) is that he can’t admit his ordering software has a significant glitch, carrying over a comment from a previous order.
If you just want to order something and there are no complications, Pestrong is OK. Good prices. But if there are any issues, forget it. Worst customer service ever.
Update: We ended up buying another bag of the Osmocote from Pestrong and having it shipped to FL. Mr. Lee still hasn’t recognized or admitted to having errors in his ordering software, so this problem could still happen to someone else. He did work with us somewhat to get us the new bag, but we still have to eat the cost of the first bag and hope it will still be on our porch in 6 months. Not a great solution, but that’s all we could get.

I received my order as promised. Exactly what I ordered at a great price with fast, free shipping. I will return to Pestrong when the time comes to reorder.
