Bumped review back up to 5 stars after noticing improvements with service. Addicted to the chipotle sauce here!

This place is legit! The Barbacoa might be the best I’ve ever had. Looking forward to trying the tortas. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food will really blow you away. Get the horchata if it’s available.

We were so impressed with the taste and authenticity of this restaurant that we’ve decided we’ll go to no other Mexican restaurant in the area. It reminds me of the great taquerias in the San Francisco area. Each dish had its own distinct flavor unlike others that reuse the meat for every dish so that it all tastes the same. The salsas are delicious. They have great customer service and the prices were reasonable. This is our go-to Mexican spot from here on out.

This is totally my favorite Mexican restaurant. The meats are always the most flavorful marinated and tender. Other places are rather bland and unexciting. I love the al a cart taco menu and the Tortilla Chicken soup. My friend stops by just to pick up the soup very often. The service is always great.

Don’t get the 4+ star rating!!! The food is decent enough to warrant 3 stars(tried the tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and fajitas) but the environment is what really kills this place. It’s really a dumpster. Beaten down tables and chairs. The place just feels sticky and dirty. It’s seriously in need of a makeover. However, service is good enough to make me want to come back and try more stuff before writing it off for good.

Some of the best Mexican I have had in Atlanta in this tier of restaurant. Generous portions and service was very quick for us. Tortilla Soup — order it without the tortillas, great tasting broth base, chicken is browned giving it more flavor. Salsa — seemed very fresh, with a good amount of heat! Tacos de Cesina — lime marinaded beef with cilantro and onions, very good. Shrimp Tacos — good size shrimp cooked on the grill. Will be visiting again often!

By far, the best mexican restaurant in the area. The chicken soup is to die for, very delicious! I also love their taquitos and quesadilla. I highly recommend them. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars from me is the service, which tend to be a bit slow. Nonetheless, I still highly recommend you try them out!

The Salsa is incredible. Went today for second time with family. Everything was delicious and freshly made. Definitely recommend. Restaurant is hidden in corner by Publix, good find. Outdoor seating.

Fantastic food and very friendly, efficient service! Definitely going to be a Mex go to, even though it’s not real close to home. Chicken burrito was fresh and delicious. Rice better than average. Chorizo taco was amazing. Great spot.

Being new to the area, we have found our Mexican hotspot! Food has a lot of flavor! If you like spicy, ask for the habanero salsa right at the beginning. I got the homestyle tamales and they were so moist and hearty with a lot of meat(chicken and pork). The chile relleno is also a must! So much more flavor than your usual boiled chicken and cheese rellenos you get every where else. The side of rice is also yummy. Side of black beans were a hit for my toddler. Can’t beat the price of margaritas here! Lime flavor is classically delicious, but mango was a bit syrupy tasting. We went on a Friday evening and it was packed with people waiting outside. It has to be good!

There are several of these spread throughout Atlanta but neither that nor the fact that it is in a Publix strip shopping center detract from the fact that this place puts out some very tasty and authentic Mexican food. All of the usual suspects are available from tacos to enchiladas to burritos and fajitas but what sets this place apart is the salsas and the marinades. Someone in the kitchen is nailing the red chili tomatillo salsa and the green tomatillo-avocado sauce. Highlights on the regular menu include the California quesadilla, the tacos al pastor and the fish tacos. There’s also a daily specials board that usually includes some sort of homemade tamale; which are excellent and huge! If it’s a takeout order night, nothing is spared. The kitchen painstakingly packs every part of your meal and all of its condiments into carefully taped containers making sure you get the same great food experience at-home as you would get at the restaurant. If you live in Johns Creek or just find yourself in the vicinity, Los Hermanos is a great choice for some«muy bueno» Mexican fare.

This is some good food. Authentic Mexican food. Great service, great food and great prices! Margaritas on special $ 3.75 and it was on a Friday night. The food comes out fast, and the drinks comes out fast!

Came here based on the Unilocal reviews. They layout is a little strange when you enter the restaurant. There is no where to stand if two or more parties walk in at the same time, but the staff was friendly and sat us quickly. The chips and salsa were very good. Salsa tasted fresh and had a good assortment of cilantro and fresh onions and tomatoes It was a good recipe for sure! The queso to go with the chips was also a winner. For the main course my wife and I split two quesadilla’s and my son got the beef burrito. The shrimp quesadilla was very good. Freshly cooked peppers and onions and good cheese. Overall this place is pretty good Mexican and I would recommend if you are in the area!

Darn good Mexican for the burbs. I’ve been coming here for years and their food has had its good days and nit so good days. I don’t know if Los Hermanos is under new management but my food was mighty tasty tonight. From the tasty black beans and rice to my beef burrito that had some love in it. I think they put a little mole sauce on it(along with the usual suspects ie sour cream, lettuce, tomato, cheese). Some complex flavor a going on that really hit the spot. Nice job LH!

They are open for lunch and dinner so today we headed here at 3pm on a Wednesday. It was empty this afternoon but the service was good. I love the chicken tortilla soup so I ordered the bowl. it was wonderful with fresh cilantro and chopped onion. My favorite part was the avocado. For the meal I simply ordered the shrimp taco. Their shrimp tacos have grilled shrimp and onions cooked to perfection. Everything I have ordered here has been perfect. They used to have crab cakes and I can’t wait until they are back on the menu. Everything is fresh here and not expensive. I love that it is a family run business and focuses on fresh ingredients.

ANEASYFIVESTARS! Los Hermanos hit it out of the park! The service was spot on,(authentic, appropriate, non-intrusive). I was provided a large glass of cool and refreshing water so that my well did not run dry. There were plenty of napkins and the chip refills were offered in a timely manner. The chips were very warm, very light and very good! We arrive around 5:30 because this is our favorite dinner hour. We had the entire south side of the restaurant to ourselves and we had great conversation without any background noise. At this early hour, service is always attentive. After being warmly greeted and seated, we took our time reviewing the menu. There were many options but I tend to zero in on any dish that features fresh vegetables. I selected the California Quesadilla which was an EXPLOSION of spinach, onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, chicken, cheese and lettuce. Beautifully executed as the vegetables were perfectly cooked and did not upstage or overwhelm one another. The shell reminded me of a carefully grilled crêpe because it was so thin and light. I also requested a side order of the refried black beans,(used as an appetizer), which had a rich smoky flavor and were delicious. My husband ordered the Enchiladas Rancheros which came with two enchiladas in a flavorful green sauce and beans and rice. They were very well seasoned and absolutely delicious. The tortilla tasted like a very authentic handmade corn tortilla like those found in the outdoor restaurants in Mexico. Not only is the food incredible but the portions are very generous. The dish that I ordered was actually an appetizer but absolutely huge and very filling. We are so looking forward to a return visit and an opportunity to try additional dishes. This place has just ZOOMED to number one on our Mexi list!

Just ordered out yesterday and the food was delicious and very cheap. We had the asada burrito and the chicken quesadilla. They also gave us complimentary chips with their delicious and fresh salsa. Knocking one star because my quesadilla brought nothing. No sour cream or guac or dipping sauce. If this is the way it comes they should’ve asked if we wanted some side sauce. It has tons of chicken though and was very delicious.
