This is an interesting Indian restaurant because I believe that some of its dishes are influenced by African cuisine. Lots of legumes, lentils, and beans used in some of the dishes. A highlight of Cloves? Their soup. Forgot the name, but if you see a tomato-ey soup, do try it! It does have some lentils/beans in it, but it is simply delicious. I could go there just to drink a gallon of that stuff. Really nice for a fall day(my favorite season of which is coming up!). Their food is not spectacular, but its solid. Standard Indian fare. Good service though — the front lady is really nice, and she’ll make you feel welcome if you come here more than once. She’ll remember you. The location is kinda wonky and obscure, so don’t give up if you can’t find it. It’s hidden behind a shopping plaza-ish. But what they sacrifice for location they get for a really nice atmosphere. Big windows open up to the deciduous wilderness behind the shop.
