I’d driven by this place a million times. I had pictured it as a cheap, mall-type framing place and imagined a sullen teenager behind the counter. I’m glad I went in, though, because I couldn’t have been more wrong. Prompted by a need to get a gift for my mom framed quickly, my fiancée and I went to FastFrame and brought along a stack of artwork and posters we’d been meaning to have framed for years. When we first walked in there was another woman in front of us who had just brought in a stack of her own items to have framed. The FastFrame employee behind the counter was incredibly friendly and professional. She greeted us right away, apologized for not being available, and let us know how long the wait might be. We left to run some other errands and came back about an hour later. The employee was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had no idea how much custom framing costs. I picked out a frame for my mom’s gift and the employee explained matting options. The total for framing that piece would have been more than $ 400, which was well above my budget! Instead of acting snobby or condescending, the employee was cheerful and helped me find some other options that I could afford. We never felt rushed. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely return to have more items framed. UPDATED: I picked up my framed artwork today. Everything looks fantastic! The employee who helped me today was just as nice as the one who helped me the other day.
