The Beachcombers Basket was wonderful… Best Sandwiches evar! I cannot wait for this place to find a new home!

There isn’t much I miss about living in Swampscott, but the Manhattan Sandwich Co. is something I wish I could have taken with me to the wilds of Allston. The sandwiches are to die for — I was addicted to the Brookline Club. Each sandwich comes with a fresh and crisp pickle, and there are soups, salads and loads of sides to make a complete meal(although honestly I fill up on just the sandwich). They have Mercury sodas from Ipswich as well as the standard beverage fare, as well as tasty brownies and cookies for desserts. The Swampscott location delivers during lunch on the weekdays. They also cater, and I’m happy to see that they’ve expanded to Marblehead. If you’re ever in the area for a day at the beach, get your meal here, you will not be dissapointed. My mouth is watering just remembering how good the food is…
