Target

This review is for the Starbucks employees (Gina? and male) who, just 10 minutes ago, were exceedingly kind to me when my toddler’s foot accidentally knocked over a display mug while riding on my hip. I offered to pay for it but they refused, and were mostly concerned about whether my daughter was scared by the crash. Thank you! The coffee was delicious, too.

You know that service that stores have now where you purchased the item online and then pick it up in-​store for easy, fast service? I did that with this Target, only it probably would have taken me ¼ the time to get my item if I’d just gone there, found it and then checked out myself. Seriously, it was more of a hassle than anything, and I was entirely annoyed.
I got there and left my husband and 6-​month-​old in the idling car while I ran in. Little did I know I’d be made to wait for nearly 20 minutes as three Target employees gabbed behind the Customer Service desk while I just stood there getting more and more irritated. Not only were they ignoring me, but they were sloppy and really unprofessional, too.
When I was finally acknowledged, it was to tell me that I really didn’t want them to help me, anyway and that someone would be there shortly to get me what I needed. When that someone did appear, a women with a large return of obviously used children’s clothing blatantly cut me in line and no one said anything; they just went ahead and took forever to accommodate her.
When it was my turn, they went searching for my item that was supposed to be awaiting my arrival. Then, it took three people to process the transaction that was supposed to be completed prior to my arrival.
Needless to say, I will not be returning nor will I be using their pick-​up service again. Total Target Fail.

I use to LOVE target. Unfortunately I do not come here anymore. Store opened up at 8am, so I came in at 8:10 to buy dog food with coupons and this blonde 50ish year old cashier gave me such a hard time, as I stepped into her lane. She rolled her eyes and sighed, I told her I had coupons and again sighed like the coupons were coming out of her pockets; making rude comments saying my coupons were fake, and that she will not take them. I left and call the manufactured coupon and they said that was very much real. I went back to a different register, now this blonde lady around her 50’s came back again to this cashier that I was at and shouted «your back? those coupons are fake» and I replied saying how I called and they said it was real. I mean I had cut it out from red plum! Thankfully, the manager came and corrected her. I will not come back here ever again. I have now brought myself and my coupons to Walmart which they accepted and actually with great customer service.

I was at the target store camera shopping. There were two cameras I was looking at, a Nikon and also a Canon. I decided to purchase the Nikon camera along with the Nikon zoom lens. When I opened the bag at home I noticed I did the Nikon camera but the TNN telephoto lens. On my receipt I paid for the Nikon camera in the Nikon telephoto lens. I returned to the storeI was given a hard time in returning the Canon lens because they said I did not have a receipt. I explain to them what happened and was told by a manager,” you should have checked your bag to make sure that our associates is putting the proper items into your bag.” They took the return of the Canon lens but at the lowest sale price of the item. Then they charged me full retail price for the Nikon lens. When I originally purchased the camera and lens the lens was on sale for $ 50 off. The manager refused to honor the sale price.

I love this store and all of the team members that work there. It’s always so clean, everything is always where it SHOULD be! Very well presented compared to the competing stores. Never a bad experience here! For the most part everything is well stocked, everything is easy to find thankfully. All in all I love this store!

This is honestly the worst starbucks I’ve been to. The coffee is ALWAYS luke warm — literally every time… and not very good. The only way to get your coffee a few degrees warmer is to ask for it extra hot-​that makes it about drinking temperature, but don’t expect your venti to be hot by the time you get halfway through.
They also don’t have any of the sandwiches and very minimal snacks/​pastries
Also, no separate entrance, you have to walk through the target.
The 2 stars are only because there is finally an alternative to dunkin donuts in swansea. (although I’ve been going there lately– coffee is as expected, half the price, and consistently hot!)

This place has given me a Target addiction. The location is super convenient and it has so much of what I need, I find myself stopping in once (or twice.) a week to pick up a few things. I can even do most of my grocery shopping here, including less generic items like almond butter and quinoa. I would go elsewhere for meats and produce, however.
It is like Walmart in that it has a little bit of everything, but I find Target to be much cleaner and they offer better products. Their store brand items are very comparable to the name brands.
I have the Target red card, which gives you 5% back on everything. If you add that onto how fair their prices are anyway, you get a pretty good deal.

For box stores Target is certainly the head of the pack. Thus far I’ve bought men’s apparel, a couple items from the sports section, and have tried their grocery section. The grocery section is what gives them 4-​out-​of-​5 stars. The price points are very curious (i.e. $ 0.24 per bana vs. having scales so people can weigh them). Also, you have to really go looking for anything that isn’t «Frankenfood». I do realize that I’m in a department store and not a farmer’s cooperative but it seemed interesting that they don’t have produce scales or a larger organic section. I say that because around the corner at the Swansea Mall they just broke ground for a new Super WalMart. Competition is about to get stiff. The Starbucks is pretty fantastic now that I think of it, the speed of the cashiers is nothing to sneeze at, and the pharmacy staff. I’ve heard criticism of large store chains but that’s decent job growth, creation and the town of Swansea is probably loving the property taxes.

When I heard that this Target was opening up I was ecstatic. yes I said ecstatic! Being that I live in Bristol the closest one to me was Seekonk. And honestly I hate Seekonk. All the congestion on Route 6 just aggravates the you know what out of me. And while the Target in Seekonk is okay, it’s not one of the better ones. And I am not a fan of Walmart so the Seekonk Target was where I was going. until this past summer!
First off, like a lot of newer Targets this location has a Starbucks. not a deal breaker for most, but for me this was just an added bonus! The store has a very modern look and when you walk in, you definitely feel positive energy of wanting to be there and shop. It’s always clean and the staff no matter if it’s the cashiers and floor clerks they are always friendly and helpful. It has an entire grocery section including a freezer and produce section.
This is a great location in Swansea and it’s in the same plaza with the newly opened Marshalls, Famous Footwear, Five Guys and I think a mattress store. The parking lot is definitely big enough for the consumers it attracts.
Call me a tad nutty, but I love coming here!

Another solid Target location that just opened this past summer. It’s located in vicinity of the Swansea mall, plenty of parking. The store is well maintained, organized, and spotless! The staff is friendly and extremely helpful in all departments. As with most Target locations these days there is a large grocery section at this location which includes fresh produce, meats, frozen section, etc.
