The Garden At Desaki

This place is freakin’ awesome! The staff is so pleasant and kind… they make you feel like family. After recently relocating to the area I am glad that my family and I have a place that we really enjoy. We just had a great… no SUPERB experience with them hosting my sister’s wedding. Not to mention the food is AMAZING, both banquet and restaurant (including the sushi). Desaki Family see you guys soon!

We were just here for New Years Eve! The hostess was very friendly and made us feel very special. The place is just beautiful inside with a 25 foot Christmas tree and has amazing décor and architecture. The nicest place in the Poconos by far. We had lots of sushi and appetizers which was just out of this world. This is coming from someone who has tasted the best of the best having lived in NYC and LA. Definitely try the soybean nori on the Wild Wolf roll. I ordered four of them, ha ha. It stuffed our family of five good. We didn’t have any Hibachi but it looked like a lot of fun, we will try that next time. I give this place a big 5 stars, professional all around and the service was outstanding. Our waiter was Sarkis, who was very attentive to our every need. Our bill was $ 130 with extra tip, which is not bad. 18% gratuity was included and I left him an extra 10 dollars. I leave 20% when we have a great time. Dress to impress! This place is very classy.

Honestly, I could not have came up with such a well planned, beautifully executed bridal shower! Every detail was so thought out before I even thought of it myself. It was totally stress free, because I know if I did it myself I would have drove boyfriend nuts running for last minute things. Right down to all the elegant choices of napkins! They even fixed the lights to my color scheme! I mean if there was something they didn’t have, within hours I received a call that it was there!
Also, I was hesitant about how my guests would feel about Japanese food but The Garden offered me a whole different menu cooked in an entirely separate kitchen. They also brought up how they cater to sort of a Sunday brunch kind of party but I really wanted an evening event.
I really loved the beautiful displays of fresh fruit before the appetizers. They really go all out its something that other banquet halls really don’t offer. Also totally sound proof from the main dining room.
The team here really takes the time to make a brides dream come true! Thanks to all the wonderful staff at The Garden!
