This is our second time visiting Dillsboro River Company. (The first time my son was not old enough to go, so just my spouse & daughter went, but this time all of us). We rented 2 person duckies both times. We all had a great trip down the river! The staff is very pleasant and helpful. When we approached the takeout area, the staff was ready to help us, loaded everything up, and got us back quickly. Will definitely visit DRC when back in the area. You should too!

This is a terrific family run company! We have rented Duckies from them about five times and always had a safe and very fun time padding the Tuck. They were always waiting for us at the takeout.
The river water is MUCH warmer that on the Nantahala and the river has nearly continuous class 2 rapids. It is a blast.

Virginia Beach, VA
We had a great time and the prices seemed reasonable for a 6 mile trip. Pick up was prompt on the other end for a speedy return. Great hospitality and the kids liked getting a popsicle on the end of the trip.
For smaller kids, take the raft which is more stable.
