The Cleaning Authority – West Bloomfield

We love TCA! Jim and his team have always been super accommodating. We recently had to put a hold on services and make some last minute requests (we had to cancel a cleaning within a day or 2), due to us moving to a new home and the hiccups that come with home buying! Jim was very understanding and happy to accommodate us. Honestly, the cleaning was the smoothest transition of the whole move!
The ladies have also been helpful with suggestions of cleaners for issues our house (s) has/​have experienced (rust, stainless steel smudges, etc). They are even kind enough to let our dog out in our fenced in yard during their visits. All of our requests have been honored.
I used to clean houses myself and think they do a wonderful and thorough job. Keep up the great work!

My girlfriend gave me the referral, and initially, I was apprehensive being that I’ve always had cleaning people and I’m very particular, but, I was pleasantly surprised. The service is über professional! The girls are kind and courteous! Most importantly they do a fantastic job! I have had plenty of cleaning people come in my home, but, the cleaning authority was the best, by far… coming from someone who is very meticulous, this speaks volumes! I have a standing appointment every other week… I won’t be calling anyone else, and, anyone looking for a cleaning company shouldn’t either, the cleaning authority is the best!

We have had many cleaning companies come into our home to clean. Personally I find it unsettling to have people in my house when I am not home, but I have found my girls from the Cleaning Authority to be trustworthy, reliable and hard working. I no longer feel like there are strangers in my home. When possible, the company is willing to accommodate my schedule and do any extras within reason. I look forward to walking through the door every other Monday to a sparkling clean house. Thank you!

My husband and I contracted The Cleaning Authority of Sylvan Lake and used the service for a few months, then requested a change to our day of cleaning. New to having someone in our home to clean and still not comfortable with handing over our keys, we wanted to change to a day that fit our schedule (Friday). I contacted Jim Miller to request this change and he became immediately irritated, told me that his Friday schedule was packed due to everyone wanting a clean house for the weekend. I asked him to please find a way to accommodate us. Two weeks later, no call back from Jim to let us know. He proceeded to send the cleaning crew on the previously scheduled day anyway, in spite of me telling him it would not work. The girls showed up when my husband was running out the door to work and asked him to call Jim to inform him they wouldn’t be able to clean as they were nervous to tell him themselves. Jim proceeded to scream at my husband, saying he ‘assumed’ we would leave a key for the crew to clean without us being at home. He then told my husband he would no longer do business with us! What business owner behaves this way? We currently live in a small home, therefore Jim refusing to clean for us was most likely not a big sacrifice for him. However, we will soon be moving into a larger home and have many friends and colleagues with means to hire a cleaning service. We will be sure to share our less than satisfactory experience. Shame on Jim Miller for treating a paying customer in such a rude and unbending manner!
