HORRIBLE customer service, totally over-priced. Heard him quote a lady $ 40 to develop two rolls of 24 exposure B&W film(and said it would take about a WEEK to develop), and charge another person $ 15 for a B&W roll. Everything is overpriced, staff the worst — stick with another store than them! Wish I could give them ZERO stars or better yet NEGATIVE stars.

We went to Berger Brothers in Syosset today and purchased a camera. This is the first camera we bought in more than 5 years. Al, the salesman spent a lot of time with us explaining how the camera worked and all of the features. He even took time to try different cases until my husband found one that was comfortable. I will advise everyone I know to shop here for excellent customer service.

Best service hands down! I needed equipment asap and they even ran down the UPS delivery service to get my shipment to me the next day! Most other businesses would never do that! I reach out to them for advice regularly and theres never any pressure with sales! First Class service!

Good people and they know things! I purchased my Olympus OM D 10 here and they were very helpful. I have been into photography for over 40 years and most places have people who know what the brochure says and not much more. They even enrolled me in the Olympus course given by the factory rep. Check them out before you buy. Very helpful.

I like this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recently purchased a new lens for my Nikon(a prime f/1.835mm) and paid the going rate for it. They will give you their website price which is cheaper that their store price most of the time. And I always see coupons floating around in the coupon books that get delivered to your home. Mine was expired and unable to be used on what I purchased, but the owner told me to hold onto it and that he’d let me use it next time I’m in the store. I also picked up a roll of Ilford 400 to process(I do darkroom stuff too) while at school, and it was $ 6.29 a roll. Recently I was at CVS and saw they have black and white film too, Kodak’s T-Max 400 and it’s $ 10 a roll. What?!? Crazy. So if you do darkroom processes or are into b&w film, the prices here are reasonable. Truth be told, I did buy my filters online at Amazon. Hey, I’m a starving artist, I’ve gotta shop around. Now looking into a decent quality tripod. A Vanguard would be nice, but I don’t know if they’re worth the high price tag.

Had two bad experiences there… Although I will say the actual owner seemed ok. Anyway, their sales staff is the reason I backed out of spending big cash there, and I actually bought a UV filter there that I later found out was a generic piece of junk… returned it, and I dropped serious cash at other locations.
