Great pizza! Chicken parm slice was awesome and the linguini with white clam sauce was delicious! Prices are so affordable, they have a $ 7.99 pic special a few days a week.

The pizza is good at fair prices and the staff is very pleasant as well. I come here roughly 2 times a week for lunch and/or order out. I like their upside-down pizza which is a regular slice except the first layer on the dough is cheese and tomato sauce goes on top. Give this place a try.

Ok pizza, I’ve only gone the one time, and it wasn’t bad. It’s pretty good for a quick slice. I’ll have to go again and maybe amend this review.

Soooooo good! Finally, a local pizza joint that has awesome pizza AND regular italian food! I have been there several times already and each time I wind up trying more of their food displayed in the case. It seems like they are always coming up with new tasty treats. I love not having to go all the way to Mario’s and I like the people that work at Gino’s so much better. They are always smiling and friendly. They’re my new place and we are happy to welcome them to Syosset! It’s about time!

I held off to write a review til after the first few weeks. The first 2 – 3 weeks of this new place were amazing. The buffalo chix slice was to DIEFOR. Then shortly after the opening, the food quality went down the drain. Ive been there a total of 7 times thus far. The past three times I’ve been there… they forgot 2 regular slices(of a large order) and 2 orders of knots(that they charged me). I have a nervous obsession with checking my food so I was able to catch these faults. They IMMEDIATELY helped me with my concerns and were VERYY nice to me. They even offered me a free riceball as a nice gesture. The service is very nice. and the new owners are amazing. But they started off with lots of chix and amazing sauce with thick crusts. They slowly got thinner and thinner crusts and less and less chicken. I dont blame them in this economy but I was alittle upset to see it get cheaper so fast. :( I still will visit from time to time since it is very convenient.

Just opened about a month ago. Been meaning to stop by several times when i have stopped at cardinalis which is next door. Ordered a grandma pie to go. The pie was very good and tasty. The sauce was really good. Will definitely go back and try there regular pizza very soon. Service was quick and friendly. Storefront is very small so if your driving to fast down cold spring road you will definitely miss it. Gino’s is one store south of cardinali’s bake shop

Gino’s has arrived in Syosset. Friendly people, fast service, pizza has a nice tangy sauce, and extra cheese. A nice place in the center of the village. Formerly at the long time location of Cardinali’s Pizza, started by the brother of neighboring Cardinali’s bakery — the well known Pizza prioprietor that was always there has likely retired. The new place, name and owners easily fit right in. Gino’s from my first hunch(and taste) will likely easily be welcomed here and last. Love their upbeat service, cool orange shirts, and quite friendly smiles!

Under brand new ownership(formerly Zio’s), but recently hit hard by Superstorm Sandy and renovated, this excellent hole-in-the wall take-out establishment deserves our community’s support and patronage. In return, you will be treated to some masterly prepared, reasonably priced Italian food. Joe, the friendly new owner and chef(who I spoke with, briefly) was trained in his family’s years-old tradition of fresh, savory Italian cuisine, and was previously in the catering business. After repeated encouragement from his friends who had tasted his food and raved about it, he went into business himself and bought«Zio’s» out from the previous owner. I recently sampled several of his pasta dishes: Tortellini Casalinga, Rigatoni Bolognese, and a Baked Ziti. Each one of them was nothing short of delicious, and both the quality of the ingredients, the preparation, and the generous portion size stood out from other similar establishments in the area. Included with the pasta dishes was a hearty-sized, super fresh salad with a zesty Italian dressing – a rarity. Joe’s new menu has an array of value specials and combos for families. His whole wheat pizza(hard-to-find option, locally) was absolutely fantastic. Tried the regular cheese as well as the Grandma pie, and both were delicious… with a great sauce. Garlic knots were perfectly prepared, soft and chewy, not too much butter, with just the right dash of spices. Lia’s and Phil’s pizza has met their competition.
