This restaurant is classic. Amazing chicken dishes, pizza is delicious and garlic knots. I used to visit their location in Cedarhurst. It was a huge loss for the neighborhood when Mother Kelly’s left. The North Shore just got another one up on the South Shore with the move of MK’s. Love it.

Ok this joint is pretty good. I have seen this place every time I’ve come to Syosset. I finally had time to stop by here and try out the local food. I ordered the Balsamic Chicken with side of pasta and the Shrimp Parmigiana. Both of these were very tasty and prepared nicely. You will get plenty of food to eat so plan on taking a doggy bag home. Great for a midnight snack later :). There is limited seating here inside, and on a nice day they have outdoor seating as well. The garlic rolls served with the meal are excellent. There like a pecan roll except they are made like garlic bread. Yummy and easy to eat. Look at spending at least a $ 20.00 bill to eat here. If price is a concern then don’t come here. Pizza runs about 20.00 each also for a whole pie. Friendly atmosphere and good food choices make this a good spot for some local cuisine. They also serve beer here too so bring a friend and enjoy the afternoon/evening meals.

Sad to give one of my ultimate favorite meals a less than excellent rating, but unfortunately things do change over time. On the positive, some things will never change and the world’s greatest garlic knots are still as good as ever and make a trip to Syosset worthwhile. Now then, this tiny location within an office building complex is hardly the warm and inviting atmosphere that was mother Kelly’s Cedarhurst. Seeing the lady I always called mama, hard at work, was both a little sad and yet nostalgically good. My usual Gorgonzola salad was just not the same without the old location around it. I guess I need a nice table with some yummy 3-bean salad and mustard dressing and the wonderfully charming wait staff. I will return here, and surely will cater some future party with this food, but I sure wish this family was not displaced from Cedarhurst.

Definitely the best pizza place in an office building. Try the cream spinach pizza, chicken parm hero, and all of the salads are great.

Very over priced. The food is ok very salty. The best thing is the spinach pizza and garlic knots. That’s about it. Not worth the price though. Mario’s in Syosset on Jericho tpk(3 min away) and Café Dolce Vita in Jericho(same shopping center as Marshall’s and Whole Foods, 5 min away) is a lot better and not so pricey. If you choose too dine at one of the other 2 locations I mentioned they have a very nice seating area as we’ll. They also give a frequent customer discount and constantly have great coupons!

Not good. Very salty. Everything was frozen. Nothing made fresh. Did not like the burnt broccoli. Would not take it off the bill. I never give a place a poor review. This is not like me

Food is over-priced, dirty, and overly salted. I work in the same office building and have watched the young workers pick up dough that had fallen on the floor and use it. bleh.

Brand new Location. I had been to the Cedarhurst location a few times. I went in hoping to get a piece of Sicilian and regular but they let me know the wait for a Sicilian would be long. I went with 2 regular slices. The price was good($ 4.50) and the pizza was actually HOT still when I got home. I would go back. :)
