Starbucks

Staff talks way too much to each other. Out of all the starbucks I go to they are by far the slowest workers.

The seating area is great here. This location is just horribly ran. Don’t even bother coming here with your treat receipt. Everything is gone by 4pm. I was overcharged twice and both times the barista refused to correct it. I had to call Corporate to get my money back and an apology. The baristas smoke, so enjoy your nicotine in your coffee.

UPDATE: It is now officially IMPOSSIBLE to ever get a seat here. Especially from 6 PM till Closing .
This is not a Starbucks. It is a Study Hall for local young pre-​Med students.
Must you set up camp here with your mountain of piled up text books and ipads & lap tops and such? Stay home or in your dorm or go to a God Damn public library.
I JUST TOOK OFF ONE STAR BECAUSE THEY RE-​MODELED (Why? It looked fine) AND TOOK MORE SEATS OUT! F**K YOU. It was almost impossible to get a seat at this location to begin with — now it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a seat here. What’s unfortunate is that some of the workers here are nice & helpful (daytime staff) .

2 – 3 years ago this was a pretty good Starbucks – better staff, more seats, etc. The very tall bald guy that used to work here was awesome. Now the morning staff is OK but the night time crew needs to stop OVER chatting with regulars. Shut up and clean something.
The staff has always been good/​bad here. Good one day then bad the next.
Not nearly as OBNOXIOUS as the Woodbury Starbucks. Not nearly as TINY as the Plainview Starbucks. Huntington Village is still the best !
HELPFUL HINT: On a date or just meeting friend for coffee & chat? GO ACROSS THE STREET to Panera Bread– coffee is not bad (free refills too!) and there is PLENTY of room & seating !

Of my three starbucks close by this is the top for staff friendliness and speed of production. Plus they always have enough breakfast sandwiches. They get my vote for número uno.

This Starbucks is great. I come there 3 – 4 times a week just for the same thing — an iced coffee (sometimes with different milks or versions but always just iced coffee) — and the staff is very friendly, always makes the drink well, even when I feel rude asking for extra ice. The place is very clean and it’s a nice space to sit down and relax if you need to.
The only issue I had (and I say that in the past tense because this was the first issue I’ve had here, and I don’t find anything else to be negative about this Starbucks) was today.
I work in a building that, without traffic, would take me 30 seconds to get to from this Starbucks without hitting a traffic light or two… it’s legitimately right down the road.
I do my best to manage my time and get my coffee 10 – 15 minutes before work, just to have a time cushion. I got there at 1:45 p.m., having to be at work at 2:00 p.m. It just so happened that about 5 – 6 other people came in at exactly the same time, but here’s where I was kind of frustrated.
With 4 other staff members behind the counter, they had one woman making every drink — all I ordered was an iced coffee… quick, simple, in and out, and while usually everything is fine, the rest of the people behind the counter stood around while the one person made every drink (I’d say 6 or 7)…I really thought I timed things out and don’t want to sound snobby… it’s just that I wished that maybe another barista could’ve helped out with the drink orders to get things running faster… I wound up waiting 15 minutes for an iced coffee.
That’s just the issue I had… hopefully the staff sees this and takes it into consideration! Other than that, like I said, the place is great — the staff, quality, atmosphere… everything. This one instance just was frustrating and hopefully they do a little better with having more people make drinks at the same time — I think that people go to Starbucks more often than not when they are in a time crunch and just need coffee quickly, and the place is known for fast service… I don’t think I should have to wait 15 minutes for an iced coffee that should take maybe 1 minute.

Starbucks seem to be on every corner but this one seems to be the best of the 3 close to me. Baristas are friendly and always make a good drink what else can you ask for from a Starbucks.

The small young brunette who looks like she belongs in high school is the most amazing barista ever hands down! I asked for a half a bottle of caramel syrup in my iced caramel macchiato and she actually did it! I might die young from all the caramel but it’s worth it because it’s so good! And during Christmas this barista gave me a Christmas card! So amazing! I love this starbucks more than my home!

The first time I went there I ordered a java chip frappé soy no whip and was talking to my friend and casually looked over to see how my drink was coming along. To my horror I saw her pour milk into the plastic container so I informed the barista that I ordered soy. She was very apologetic. Seemed very nervous as well, which made me nervous. So she proceeded to get the soy milk. However, instead of using the plastic container labelled soy, she poured it into the plastic container labelled milk. I don’t drink soy just for the heck of it. I’m lactose-​intolerant. I didn’t have the heart in me to correct her since she looked so frazzled. But seriously, had I not noticed that she was pouring milk instead of soy, I definitely would not be going back to their location again. you can figure out why.

Not too bad, but not the greatest starbucks. Staff is overall nice and place is very clean. Seem to have issues with my drink whenever I come in there tho. I get the same drink everywhere I go, but they seem to be the only ones who need at least 2 attempts to make it right. If my daughter wasnt in school a block away I definately wouldnt come back here.
Guy with glasses and other guy with black hair makes drinks very well. Small young brunette, looks like she belongs in high school, is a total bitch, and complete idiot. Took her 5 trys to understand that I like carmel in my drink lol. She seem to be more frustrated than I was, and Im the one paying! Lol
All in all, if youre cravibg starbucks its in a great location and will feed your craving… just try not to give them any complicated drinks… unless you want an attitude and a messed up drink lol

OMG… maybe I’m just used to other Starbucks locations being more mellow, but this place is INSANELY loud… because of the EMPLOYEES! I came to do some work & drink my coffee in a calming environment, but it’s like a damn playground in here. The four baristas behind the counter are ridiculously loud and unprofessional, having inappropriate conversations with each other, rather than helping customers. The only reason that I am giving this location ANY stars is because of the great coffee! I actually think it would be quieter in the middle of Grand Central Station during rush hour!

Star loss b/​c of night crew. Frequently rude, frequently cleaning the place more than an hour before closing, pastries put away, etc. Literally and figuratively night and day from the morning crew, who are much, much better. At night, worth it to roll down to Plainview or out to Woodbury.

Fast service!!! Today I went to the Woodbury Starbucks and there were 15 people on line I marked my spot and said that I will be back with coffee from the syosset store before they got served. Got in my car got served fast in syosset starbucks went back to Woodbury and there were still people waiting who were in front of my spot! Try it yourself!

The staff here is incredibly pleasant — always. That can be a rare feat at the ass crack of dawn, but they’re constantly smiling. I appreciate their positive attitude and the atmosphere in the store that comes along with that. There are always customers working or reading in here, and that, in my opinion, is due to the wonderful energy that the workers bring to this location.
Keep up the amazing work!

Sometimes the coffees are not as perfect brew wise as others but they will quickly fix it
Like ordering my friends no foam latte has been mistaken for non fat latte
Parking lot can be a hassle at peak times
I love their macchiato s and lattes sometimes I can’t justify a 4.95 latte or macchiato opt for a regular cup which is actually cheaper then other places
They have milks & sugars so you can customize your plain ol cup of joe

I generally come here twice a week.
When you work in the trucking industry its hard to find breakfast at 4−5am in the morning.
Usually the crew in there is absolutely awesome.
So i walked in at 5:26am the door was open so I walked in. I said oh are you open yet. I was greeted with no we forgot to lock the door leave. I said oh Im sorry what time do you open? 530am they said while snickering at me like I was stupid.
I walked out and they were making comments? Seriously??? Immature employees to say the least. I went back 4 minutes later which I kind of find rediculous and was basically stared at… for what reason???
Preety rude and unprofessional in my book.

Starbucks is Starbucks. This Starbucks is an exception. Every employee is extremely friendly, and the service is always fast and on point. A good selection of mugs and coffee/​tea accessories, always a new blend of coffee beans in stock. Me and my girlfriend frequent this Starbucks a lot, and after coming to the same place for so long, you start to see the flaws of other Starbucks locations. If you’re ever in the vicinity of this Starbucks, the extra drive is well worth it for your hot or cold coffee fix.

I LOVE the employees they have at this location. They are all extremely friendly, and seem to have a great attitude whenever I stop by to get my caffeine fix. This is by far my favorite Starbucks!

I popped in here to put my laptop onto the Internet, to charge up my phone and to get a coffee to charge up «me». The place was almost completely taken up by a couple groups of high school kids using it for their study area, so I ended up having to share a table with another patron. There was only one available power outlet.
Otherwise, it was the same Starbucks configuration that I have encountered often — coolers of drinks and pastries and a counter with a barista who is happy to prepare an overpriced and overroasted coffee product. I’ve recently switched to the «Blonde» brewed coffee with tastes much better than other *$ products. Give it a try.
