After attending a local event, our group of 10 went to The Inn Between for dinner and drinks around 10:30pm. The waitress had just clocked out and told us we’d have to order everything from the bar, which was perfectly fine with us. However, the bartender ended up providing table service anyway(and was incredibly sweet about it). We ordered wings, mozzarella sticks, potato skins, quesadillas and nachos. Everyone’s plates were licked clean and bellies were full. I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, service, quality of food, and drink selection.

There’s nothing wrong with the Inn Between. There’s just also nothing to really brag about. The food is fine. Standard Bar food. We had mozzarella sticks, wings, and zucchini sticks. I also tried a jalapeño popper. It was all fine. You could do far worse for bar food, but you can also do far better. They did bring out their dessert with a candle for a birthday we were celebrating, but that’s also as expected, since we asked.

This is a restaurant with a bar. It looks like a bar with a restaurant. Don’t be mistaken. Come here for a fantastic time & food. I ordered the hot wings and they were hot & good. I’ve had hotter but these were good. The Brie plate was delicious and their Chicken Cobb Salad was fantastic. This spot is a local spot it obvious. We ordered from the bar and sat in the lounge area. The service was friendly. Def a good spot and got lucky but the #Yelp reviews helped a ton picking this winner. #Satisfied

Great bar stop in with a some of my friends to have a couple of drinks. The bartenders were on top of there game interacting with customers and getting drinks to people within minutes. They also had some amazing buffalo wings that had a nice kick to it went great with the beer. Locals in the bar was great made the time in the bar fun. Too bad I don’t live in the area would I love to come and hang out again I had an awesome time

Meh, nothing great about this place. Food is typical frozen bar food, nothing great, I’d stay away from the chicken fingers. Kind of gross(even tried them twice to make sure). There are better options out there.

Amazing home town place. Fun, Friendly, Professional staff, a Cheers type of place. A place you want to come back to where everyone knows your name. Comfortable. Where people care. Love it!

It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside situated in small row of stores you might easily miss it. Joe said lets give it a try… now I know this place has been here at least 20 years I figured longevity must be worth something. its drab and dark looking like it hasnt been changed since 1989. there is even a video game by the front door. big tvs with the ball game on we sat at the bar friendly bartender we wanted appetizers and drinks nachos was so boring and simple just chips with a little cheese melted on a bit of beans scallions the sour cream tasted old the baked bree was far better served in phylo dough perfectly melted along side orange marmalade and some toasted rye the menu offered burgers and salads plus a few pastas for that vintage 80s feel this is a nice spot

Never disappoints. You cant go wrong with the burger and you can customize it to your liking. Juicy and large portions with great fries. Their staff is friendly and the place has a warm feel to it. There is a large selection of domestic as well as imported beers. Its a go to spot for this town and everybody passing through

Fun every time! Try the wings and Club Sandwich! Lots of great beer selection. Syosset lacks of laid back friendly places. This spot has mountain bikers, finance guys, retirees, young professionals and sometimes even girls!

Well… the place hasn’t changed in 30 years. Which is neither great or bad. You can depend on a good snack, the bar is a nice expanse and the restaurant part — although sticky — has its charm. No stand outs on the menu — just good snackin’. Prices are fair and staff is friendly enough.

Service was good tonight and they had fresh hamburgers. There is a lively family crowd as well as heat in the dining room. They have nightly socials for aporox $ 16.00 Comes with a salad. They do n ot charge to substitute a salad instead of fries. Great option for those of us who are health consciuos. i will come again

Good spot for lunch. Can’t beat the burger(although don’t get the lunch special burger– it’s not as good as the regular burger for some odd reason). Fries are always crisp. The chili is tasty. If you want to eat healthy the salads are decent. There is always a booth available. Don’t come for the atmosphere — just a cut above dive bar — come for the burger.

Friendly dive-bar in Syosset. If it’s not your neighborhood bar, there’s no special reason to stop in here. By mere proximity, my high school friends and I often get a drink here. Their selection in food is limited, but slightly overpriced on the grub end. As for the drinks, they are fairly reasonable. Their selection again, is very limited, sometimes I have to ask for 3 different things before they have something I actually might want. Their wine & beer list is not so great… they don’t even have simple glass of Riesling. That being said, if your’e looking for a place to relax with your friends, be able to talk, sing, or even dance with no fear of a crowd to judge you, this is the place for you. I like their jukebox, and their bathrooms are clean. For a Syosset bar, I’m not praising it, but it’ll do. Maybe I should open up my own bar… now there’s an idea.

Eh. Def dive bar. Used to be ok when the Shamrock was around because anything was better than that dump. Now it’s prob the biggest dive in Syo. Treat it as such and your golden. There is plenty of room if you have a group and Golden Tee if you don’t feel like talking to whomever you came with or run in to. There are a bunch of TV’s but some are in regular def some in HD, just a mess trying to watch a game here. The wings are pretty decent if your rocking the beer munchies. Come here as the last stop on your bender tour that should have ended an hour earlier. There is additional parking in the back if you cannot get one of the 10 spots in the front. Also, there is usually 5 – 0 in the parking lot across the street so call a taxi(which you should do anyway you bozo).

Pub Grub. Thanks to Facebook we had a mini-reunion of sorts here as it was a pretty central location for the guys involved, plus we figured there would be a lot of loud story telling after all the years… We commandeered the seating area and ordered up some decent grub. The full menu is pretty comprehensive and we ordered something from every spectrum and everyone was fine with it. Beers were cold and the service was right on the money. Parking still sucks.
