This gym is in a convenient location location and although customers have to park on the street, it usually isn’t an issue. I like that they don’t have televisions all over, just on the cardio machines. It feels less like a club and more like a gym. However, they did just added televisions in the locker rooms and they leave them on awful channels with loud volume.
The biggest problem with this gym is that they are inconsistent with hours. Several times I have come to work out and they closed early, supposedly for a «holiday» but they do it after the holiday. For example, I went on January 2^nd and they were «closing early due to the holiday». The holiday that was the day before and signals a time for everyone to start working out more. I was also at the gym three days earlier and they did not advertise that they were closing early on the 2^nd. The other problem is that they play awful music that is not conducive to working out. This gym has potential, they just need someone who is business savvy to make some changes and keep loyal customers happy.

Keep on billing me after I was done with them and contract. Price grantee fee is another scam that they have… beware of their billing practices and ask them about ALL HIDDEN FEES CAUSE THEY ARE NOT GOING TO TELL YOU

They try and charge you even after your year is up. The management at the downtown location is less than helpful and wants to charge me over $ 100 for absolutely nothing. Horrible customer service and bad management.

Seriously great gym. The staff here are incredible. Within a week of joining they welcomed me by my first name every time I entered the gym. They are constantly cleaning every thing. Their locker room is cleaner than my kitchen. Which makes me question my own standard of cleanliness. But any way.
I don’t actually use the trainers since I am a hairy man beast already and don’t need further training. Seriously though, I’m in there when the trainers are working with the customers. They are very understanding and knowledgeable and apply the perfect amount of pressure to help the clients reach their goals. A hard job!
This is a small gym. However, they have every piece of equipment I could need. They get crowed briefly for the lunch crowd and downtown after work (5:00pm) crowd. Otherwise it is not busy at all and I’ve never had an issue getting the equipment I need.
I like to drop heavy weights as often as possible and I like that the staff don’t hound me for it. It’s a side effect of lifting heavy things. Some times they drop and go boom. Sorry if the big noise bothers any one. You could always try lifting some thing «heavy» I hear it relieves stress.

I belonged to this health club for one year while I lived in downtown Syracuse. Overall I was content with the gym. I mainly used this location since it was only a block away from my apartment. This location does not have many of the other classes and some extra equipment that their Fairmont location has.
The staff were always friendly. The place was moderately clean. I did not like the exercise mats, they were like dirty styrofoam. Since I do not like doing classes the gym’s lack of classes was not a problem for me. They only offer occasional spin classes here. The other locations offer a wide range of classes.
They have personal trainers and I think an option for group personal trainings. Their choice in music to play was odd at times. Sometimes it was upbeat music you would typically hear at a gym, but sometimes it was slow country music, not what I would want to hear when trying to get motivated to exercise more.
The locker room was okay, it was clean, had showers, toilets and many lockers.

Nice gym and convenient. But, they allow members to drop the weights; it’s so distracting and the employees say nothing to the members.
