Excellent service, quality food. And fair prices as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer . Patrice Papazides

Winner winner, chicken dinner. What a great place for casual eating. I got a heaping plates of goulash, while the ladies prefered the entirely fresh made turkey dinner. All for under 10. But the food, perhaps the best we’ve had in our diner travels was exceeded by the waitress. What a joyful lady. If you have never been here, come. Come hungry. You will not regret it.

To be honest, I never even knew this place existed(and I’ve lived around here for a long while). Went for a late Sunday morning breakfast and wasn’t too crowded and didn’t even wait at all. Ordered some simple eggs and toast and a soda. Cups are really small, but free refills and she brought me two cups right away! Scrambled eggs were really good, like better than you’d expect for such a simple order. Toast was good too. Everyone I went with seemed to have a good meal(they ordered much more than I did). I guess this place would be 5 stars in my book if they just updated the aesthetic or something similar both inside and outside. Very plain. But not bad though! I’m also not a fan of places that like to add«II» or «III» after their business name, but that’s just a pet peeve, nevermind that.

How do you ruin breakfast??? Stop by and you’ll see! I should have known when all the«good diners» in town had a long wait, and I walked in here and sat right down! Waitresses were warm and welcoming. Ordered a fretta and it came out in seconds. No color, no taste! It was as if ALL the ingredients were«boiled»(yesterday) and sitting in water… waiting for assembly. Just a big pile of tasteless ‘watery’ mush. No crisp… no crunch… no fresh. Was pretty hungry, so I covered it with ketchup and choked some down.

The serving size is great. My friend had pork sandwich, which had 6 slices of pork. Huge scoop of mash potatoes. And a lot of gravy. I had the chicken cacciatore. Came on a 12 plate! Large chucks of chicken(and a lot of it)

I have driven by this place many times, and I wish I would have kept on driving. There are plenty of better places to eat in the N. Syracuse area. Our waitress was an older woman(I think she was one of the owners!) that seemed annoyed that we dared come in to eat. She actually looked frazzled that 2 new people came in. Everyone else in there seemed to know each other, and she made us feel very unwelcome. The food was ok, but not good enough to put up with rude service — especially by the owner! My husband and I will never be back

A quaint everybody-knows-everybody restaurant that consistently serves up tasty, unassuming food and friendly smiles. Our trips to Barbieri’s have become a tradition. When we take a red eye flight to Syracuse to visit my boyfriend’s family, we’re scooped up at the airport by my boyfriend’s dad and taken directly to this little restaurant to eat. Breakfast is served all day, and the lunch/dinner menu consists primarily of soups, salads, sandwiches(hot and cold), wraps, burgers, pizza, and wings. In other words, there’s something for just about everyone. I’ve been to Barbieri’s at least 4 times now – with the latest trip being last Thursday – and have ordered and enjoyed the Monte Cristo and hot tea each time. Massive gravel parking lot off South Main Street in the village. Don’t laugh; plentiful free parking is something I’ve come to very much appreciate since my move to San Diego about 4 years ago! Good stuff. The type of down-home, comfortable, no-frills, taped-up-holes-in-the-booth-cushions restaurant where one doesn’t bother to ask for anything fat-free or specially made in a healthier manner. — — – 23MAR2012UPDATE: I assure you, this place is a restaurant! I’ve been trying to get Unilocal to indicate such for some time.
