Calios

Amazing place! The possibilities are endless, delicious calzones. Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name and after a couple frequent orders all I had to do was call and say my order and they knew exactly where it was going. Great people, great food, great bang for your buck. Buffalo chicken calzone is my personal favorite, I’ve dabbled with the dessert calzones before. Pretty great as well but when I hear calios, I just want to stuff my face with that buffalo chicken. Also they have deals on tops receipts so that’s always good as well!

I’m surprised that not too many others have reviewed this restaurant yet; I love it, it serves great food and it’s fantastic for late nights but is in now way perfect. There is little to no seating late at night, which surprises me considering how many people go to eat.
The calzones are absolutely worth it. They have calzones with plenty of meat, and there’s also quite a few vegetarian options. My personal favorite is the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch calzone; it’s flavorful and it keeps me happy during late nights. Calio’s also has other options, such as wings, which are pretty good.
While it is very unpleasant to order food in person at Calio’s, the owner solved this problem by providing fantastic delivery service. With one phone call, you can place an order and a driver will deliver your calzone. I haven’t ordered delivery in the winter, but so far when I have ordered delivery, my calzone came to me nice and hot. Whenever you place an order, they’ll say that it will take 45 min to make and deliver the calzone, but sometimes it surprisingly comes a little bit earlier.
This restaurant does see students as its primary customers. The restaurant operates from 4pm-​4am, inconvenient for other people besides Syracuse University students. When they deliver, they also know the general areas on and off campus where students reside, so it’s not a problem that the delivery drivers have no idea where they are going.
If you’re hungry late at night, on the weekends or weekdays, Calio’s is a pretty reliable restaurant with good food and good delivery service.

Food is great but the atmosphere inside is very crappy. it’s old, messy, and broken down. The calzones are always fresh/​hot when you get them there but always cold when you get it for delivery.
