Best Chinese take out in the north Syracuse area. You get exactly what you expect at a good price and good portions.

Im here for work and didnt feel like much so ordered Chinese. Tolerable but nothing great. I ordered General Tso chicken. It was soggy and not very spicey. And there was an 8 year old kid checking people in and out. Thought it was cute at first then decided this place is breaking every labor law… I won’t be returning

I have come to accept that all of the Syracuse area Chinese-​American take out joints are almost indistinguishable in terms of their menu selection and the overall quality of the food is poor to average.
China Wok is on the low side of average and, as I have written about other similar places, there is a need, demand and justification for this that stems form a non discerning, uninformed customer base. This is fast food but, not bad food. I have sampled their Sesame Chicken, Chicken with vegetables, Chow Mein, Egg Rolls, Fried Won Tons and Fried and Steamed dumplings.
Their service is fast and the food is hot. They do have many items prepared in advance and simply deep fry these prepared items. Wontons, dumplings etc… seem to be of the frozen variety and not homemade. Portions are not as generous and prices slightly higher than others. The orders are prepared accurately and the service very polite and pleasant.
