I was hoping that years had improved the food at this restaurant, sadly NO! I was excited to see sushi rolls added along with Seagrass and edamame. DONOT try the sushi. It was old and fishy. The Seagrass and edamame were good. The food itself on buffet was lackluster. The pepper beef dish was void of flavor and tough. I tried various chicken dishes that were meh to passable. They had American food(frozen pizza, fish, salad, fruit) all just ok. I had chocolate pudding, cookie and mandarin oranges for desert, my son had mint chocolate ice cream. It cost 20.00 for 2 buffets and 2 sodas. This money would have been better spent at Wendy’s(sad to say). So if you are looking for a chinese buffet don’t go here and I’d be hard pressed to say there are any good ones left.

As far as China buffets go, I’ve been to much better. They just didn’t do a good job. The food was either starchy, overcooked and not even very hot. The peel and eat shrimp were mushy. There was really nothing else there that was remotely appetizing. I did have the chicken, I think. The quality just wasn’t there. They were reasonable and included the beverage in the price. I’d say it’s better than fast food, but not by much. They have a deal if you want a beer, it’s only an extra dollar.

This place is disgusting had I not felt like I hadn’t eaten in 3 days I would have turned around. It’s not clean at all it stinks so badly, all the chicken options taste like they have been reheated 10 times and the workers are miserable. Do not go here.

How can I rate lower than 1 star? Been going here for years. Hasn’t been cleaned since new owners took over. Filthy is a weak statement. Food on buffet lines not at proper temperatures. Repeatedly saw new food added to old. There is no sign of any management in the place. Experienced intestinal issues several hours after eating here. When is Onondaga health department going to do its job and close this place?

It’s around 9PM. We sweat our way through a set at Lost Horizon, and in lieu of visiting Paradise Found strip club adjacent, we thought it’d be wise to indulge in a buffet experience. To say we were overjoyed to fill our faces with as much General Tso’s and rib tips would be generously understating it. As we walked down the back road behind the venue, we followed a red neon«BUFFET» sign like a moth to flame. The inside of the restaurant was as expected and exactly what we wanted. They had dollar drinks; what could go wrong? I personally had four plates of food. Choices ranged from frog legs to watermelon, «mac in cheese» and chicken feet. Mike says the pizza was good. They cut us off at two margaritas; my only complaint at the moment of consumption. Everything seemed fine, we left satiated and plump, and headed for Philly. The issue was what happened the following two days. Let’s just say, it’s like there was a tub full of water, really dirty brown water, like some hobo took a bath in there, some gross hobo and there’s just this smell building up, and now imagine your butt is the drain, and the plug comes out with a bit of force but then you just can’t stop it after that and you’re late for work the next day. So I guess just go in prepared for that.

Best buffet food yet! There food is some of the best buffet food there is. Very flavorful and fresh. Everything tastes as you expect it should. They don’t alter there recipes to make General Tso or fired rice taste weird. Tastes how fired rice and General Tso generally taste, but very fresh and flavorful. Definitely my favorite buffet style Chinese. There General Tso’s, vegetable fried rice, and Teriyaki chicken is some of the best. There selection is not that great, about 20 different foods, but all of them taste great and far above average compared to other buffets. A+ They have an ice cream station with 4 or so selections. Of course like all Chinese buffets, there waiters are timid and quiet, but the service has been above average compared to other buffets.

Great place if you like cold food. The only thing that was hot was the pizza and rice

The food was pretty good. Their best dishes were the general chicken, the spicy chicken and the shrimp dumplings. Their sushi was also great. The honey chicken and peanut chicken were extremely dry and highly disappointing. All in all though it was much better than the Empire down the road and the cocktail drink prices are amazing!

My family loves this place! The sushi guy is very creative with his dishes and they always keep the sushi bar well stocked and fresh. We always seem to get the same waitress every time and she is always very friendly. She talks/plays with our boys and is very prompt when refilling our drinks. The dessert and salad bars could use some improving/more variety, but the overall buffet is inexpensive for a family of four and we’ve never had any complaints about the food or service. I would recommend Fuji to anyone craving sushi and looking for a great Asian buffet!

Lots off choices, most are just ok. Thou get what you expect at a buffet like this, nothing is terrible but at the same time nothing is really great. If you’re looking for quality go some where else, but if your just looking for a quick place to eat and you eat a lot it fits that bill The g place is nice and appears well kept

This has been one of the few restaurants that I frequented for the last several years of being in Syracuse, where the choices for eating out are… well, limited, to put it nicely. I’ve always seen a great selection of Americanized chinese food and I especially appreciate the variety of seafood you find here. Always fresh veggies and seafood. Love the 4 different choices for soup and nice selection of fried food galore(wings, fried scallops/crabmeat/shrimps, chinese style donuts). Lunch here is $ 6.99 during the week. Can’t beat the price with decent quality of food. Not the best chinese food you’ll have in your life but good enough to feel like you didn’t waste your money.

I’ve been coming to this buffet since the late 1990s. Back then the food was great. However, in the last 3 years the quality has really gone down and the prices have gone up. The food is often overcooked and bland. Want crab legs? Don’t hold your breath; they refill very infrequently. At my last visit the dish was empty when I first got there and still empty over 30 minutes later. And our booth had flies on the wall that began swarming our food towards the end of the meal. It was a terrible experience.

It was hard to enjoy our dinner after a waitress accused us of not paying for one of our guests. She demanded money from us and we had to follow her to the cashier to get our money back because we did pay for all in our party. The cashier apologized and said she didn’t know why the waitress did that. The waitstaff were extremely unfriendly and just pointed and Unilocaled some phrase when we asked how to get some water. Some in our party said the shrimp and some of the chicken dishes were overcooked. I thought the lactose-free ice cream was nice. My 6-year-old wouldn’t eat the pizza, chicken, french fries or ice cream. He said it was gross and he gagged while eating the ice cream. We forced down our food because it was $ 17 per person. The fruit was hit or miss in terms of being fresh or over ripe. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Our tour bus stopped here for lunch. I’ve been to many Chinese buffets in the US and none of them were very good. This is actually one of the better ones and it even has sushi. I’m not too familiar with the town but if you are a visitor or just taking a break on a long road trip, I would recommend you give this a try. It will get you full for cheap.

Well it’s an Asian buffet, and Chinese run at that, so expecting the best out of it would be somewhat laughable, especially at $ 12. Also, exposing the drink menu to those from Ontario would very likely send them into shock(followed by everyone ordering drinks immediately after). Because really, how often are we going to see pints go for a dollar?

I’m leaving my original review below, but here is an update: FAIL, this place is total, freaking, fail now. I’ve gone back several times after my original review and each time the experience is a little worse :-/ The food is just gross now. The only foods I saw being refreshed on the line were hot wings, mac n cheese and pizza. Sorry, if I wanted to eat that garbage I’d have gone someplace other than an Asian buffet. The adjoining sports bar is so obnoxiously loud, you can hear it all the way on the other side of the building, again, I’d have gone somewhere else like Tullys if I wanted to be annoyed by loud sports, music and yelling. The staff pulls the«I don’t speak English» crap when you have a problem WAY too expensive for the experience. Add this to the list of crappy buffets in Syracuse. My original review is below…

This place is a typical Chinese buffet with mediocre-to-crappy sushi. For ten bucks, it’s not the worst deal ever. I’m torn between two and three stars. If this place advertised itself as a Chinese buffet, and I’d gone when I wanted a bunch of shitty Chinese food, I’d have said it delivered. But I went wanting sushi, and the sushi wasn’t any better than any other Chinese buffet that has sushi as an afterthought. The chef focused on pumping out vegetarian rolls for trays that weren’t empty even when there were 3 – 4 seafood trays that had been empty for 10 – 15 minutes. The hot food, as you could expect, was pretty bad, with the exception of the crab rangoons, which were delicious(assuming you don’t expect any crab, which I don’t). Domestic + Labatt pitchers at this place are $ 2.99. I don’t really know what angle you could work to get people to want to go get drunk at a crappy Chinese buffet, but if you could work it, I’m sure there’d be a decent story in it.
