I get Jimmy John’s for lunch sometimes, and people at my workplace order delivery pretty frequently.(I believe their delivery is limited to near/at SU.) It is a basic sandwich chain, so don’t expect anything super-gourmet. However, I love basic subs, so I’m always happy with my food. I really like their sub rolls, and I always find them to be fresh. I usually order my sub with extra meat(at an extra cost) because if I don’t, my sub seems like more bread than anything else. They make your food quickly, so it has been a good place to pick up lunch when I’m in a hurry. It is always clean in here, and the staff are friendly. If you are gluten-free you can order your food as an unwich, meaning no bread and wrapped in lettuce. They also have a few vegetarian options if you are not a meat eater. I eat meat, but sometimes I do order the vegetarian sub, which has veggies, provolone cheese, and avocado spread and is very tasty. I am a mayonnaise fanatic, so I always get extra mayo on my subs. However, whenever I order extra mayo here, it doesn’t really come like that. So now I ask for a few mayo packets when they hand me my sub, and the problem is solved. If you are in the Marshall Street area and are looking for a good sub, Jimmy John’s is the place to go.

My favorite thus far is the JJ Gargantuan which literally contains everything except bacon. If you want some less carbs, ask for it unwich style which replaces the bread with a lettuce wrap. Now instead of picking out meats just to eat, they do it for you! But who even does that? Their bread is soo good that you just want it eat it all! It comes out as a pretty heft meal for less than $ 10. Other sandwiches are cheaper averaging around $ 5 – 7 after taxes and all. Service is quick, but is to be expected and comparable to quiznos or subway. Quality, taste and price I think JJ wins hands down compared to the quiznos and subway that I have been to. I wish they had a JJ’s back at home. I’d have converted much sooner than this.

Really well run and in great proximity to classes at SU. Jimmy John’s really hits the spot when craving big sandwiches.

Inedible-Was very disappointed in the sandwich I just had. A basic turkey sub. Hard to mess up but they did. The bread was extremely flat and stale. I ate one bite and could not eat the rest. I didn’t have a choice as to where we got lunch this time, but I will avoid this jimmy johns next time I do have a choice.

Jimmy John’s is a nice establishment with alright food that is just a replication of at home food. I walked into Jimmy John’s and asked for the best sub. The friendly staff recommended the Bootlegger Club. It was a small roll of bread that was advertised as a «Giant Club Sandwich» with roast beef, turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Nothing different than what I can whip up myself at home. If you’re looking to blow some money instead of making the same, if not better, sandwich at home for a fifth of the cost, then by all means order at Jimmy John’s.

When I don’t know what I want on Marshall Street, Jimmy John’s it is! I have only ever ordered the #12 Beach Club from here: it left that good of an impression! The bread they use for their sandwiches are flippin’ amazing, they don’t toast it and it’s still that good! On the beach club there’s turkey, mayo, avocado spread(!!!), lettuce and tomato. They used to have alfalfa sprouts too, but they got rid of them during the sprout scare of 2010 I believe. Makes it sound like a drought or big natural disaster… I love the funny sayings they have plastered around the establishment, and service is fast! I think on average I get my sandwich in about 2 – 3 minutes after ordering. Longest it takes is 5 minutes, and I’ve gotten it in as little as 45 seconds before, no joke. At around $ 6.75 for a delicious and filling sandwich, I’ll take this over Subway any day! They need one of these in NYC!

Not only did we get service with a smile at 2:30 in the morning, but Mitchell, Tori, and Jared also went above and beyond to make our entire Jimmy John’s experience magical. Mitchell was a rockstar on the cash register taking orders with lightening quick speed, Tori asked no questions when we requested our sandwiches be cut in thirds, and Jared is the best delivery driver to ever exist. As returning alumni we were proud to see the Jimmy John’s on Marshall street in such great hands.

Delicious subs, fast delivery. I had the Hunter’s club, and the Bootlegger’s club. The roast beef on both sandwiches was delicious. Jimmy John’s is so much better than Subway’s.

I was always about subway because it was affordable and quick. until I walked into jimmy john’s. Jimmy John is one of those quilty pleasure of mine, I know that bread has to have three stick of butter but it is so fresh and taste so GOOD. The mayo is another issue but you have to get it to get the full JJ experience. My favorite have to be the bootlegger. A healthy portion of roast beef and turkey with american cheese and lettuce/tomato. A full sub is only about 6 – 7 dollars and they delivery! I never heard of a place deliverying one sub! It is insane. I usually grab a JJ after the bars, this ease the pain of walking home.

Yum. Vito w/Hots = Awesome Italian sub ready in approx. 1 min from order. 6 min if you need it delivered. Yes they are THAT fast. And cheap! What more can you ask?

I love Jimmy John’s. Cheap. Filling. Delicious sandwiches. And affordable for college students. I always get the beach club, #12, with oil and vinegar. Plus, they’re super quick — when you only have 10 minutes in between classes, this is the place to go. So delicious. And, it’s open really late(3AM) — perfect for late night studiers. Or after-party food. Only bad thing — it smells weird when you walk in, kind of like bleach and sandwiches. Not the most appetising smell. So I tend to grab my sandwich and go back to Whitman to eat it. But that’s just me — maybe my nose is sensitive.

I could always go for a jimmy johns sandwich! Definitely the best sandwich store on marshall. Extremely quick and the prices are reasonable. The pickles are also really good just make sure to ask to get it cut in fourths. The sub rolls are my favorite but the bread is good too. Delivery is pretty quick

Checked out Jimmy John’s as a little lunch stop on a day of touring the S.U. campus. I’d never heard of the place before coming here, but from the looks of it, seemed like a nice little sandwich shop to come by… The sandwiches were nice and light — nothing huge or filling to make you feel stuffed stupid. They come in an 8″ variety, or the extra large sandwich, which I SHOULD’VE gotten(had I know the 8″ didn’t appease my hunger). I got the #1 Pepe, which was honey-smoked ham, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and oil and vinegar. It tasted great, and the bread was good. I would’ve loved an option to choose different types of bread, but the house bread was no cause of concern. As with all places I give 3⁄5 for, the food tasted good and service was completely fine, but Jimmy John’s did nothing to sort of stick out to me. Would I go here instead of a Subway? Yeah, if you’re in the mood for something tastier with a bit more backing to it – but JJ’s definitely is a cool place to drop by for a nice, quick lunch on the go.

If it wasn’t for Jimmy John’s, I’d be stuck eating Cuse campus or Subway sandwiches between classes. Thank you Jimmy Johns for keeping me away from mediocre sandwiches… who knows where Subway and Cuse get their deli meats.

I love my Jimmy. If you like roast beef try the #10 with mustard and cucumbers. I also recommend the #16 — Turkey Bacon and the #12 — Turkey Avocado and Cheese. And if your looking for something healthy try a #12 Unwich(that’s a lettuce wrap if you don’t speak Jimmy) with no mayo. Also, you can check out the calorie content of your favorite sub on their website. I haven’t had a bad sandwich from Jimmy Johns. But the best part about Jimmy Johns and the real reason I love my Jimmy, is because they’re open every night until 3am and the delivery is super fast. Everytime I order delivery its at my door in less than 15 minutes. So as soon as my Jimmy craving hits I can order a sandwich and know that I’ll be eating in no time. Even at 2:30 am. And that’s why I love my Jimmy. Buyer beware, the sign says gourmet subs, but don’t expect to get a smoked turkey breast and aioli on asiago cheese roll. And they don’t have soup. Jimmy Johns is a no fuss, super fast, good quality deli.

Beach UNwhich. No mayo. Its awesome and an ACTUAL healthy alternative to the other places on Marshal street. Plus the concept of an unwhich is just something everyone should experience.

I love the fact the smallest sub on the menu is 8 inches. After taking my teenagers to the dentist, we were hungry. It was just a short walk to Marshall St. After an agonizing 30 minutes just trying to decide where to go, we stopped at. Jimmy Johns. The sandwiches were so good and made quickly. They did mess up our order, but fixed it so fast, I had just turned around they had the correct sub up. The music was great. Reading the signs on the walls is a treat.
