Where has the customer service gone?
My husband called to see if you carried lawn rollers and the lady on the phone sounded pleasant and asked politely to put him on hold. After 10 minutes, he had decided to drive on over to the store (still on the phone).
As he walked up to an employee he mentioned that he was still on hold 20 minutes later to find out if you carried lawn rollers. That person did not seem to care because he immediately said one second and walked away.
Ha! How frustrating. He walked up to someone else and he kept saying lawn roller and the man who worked there thought he was saying lawn mower. haha!
Finally, someone approached him and knew exactly what he was talking about and was able to get what he tried calling about.
But my goodness, he had to drive there to get any help and go through a few people.
What are your employees doing when they put people on hold for that long?

They really are the helpful hardware place! I showed them pics of my burst pipe. It was a $ 7 fix. The plumber would have charged me $ 50 just to show up!
They also helped me in the past with little house helper things like how to replace a electrical socket without dying. Nice folks

I couldn’t agree more with Roger I’s review from 10/​21/​2012.
can’t stand going into Lowe’s or Home Depot anyway, so it is a real pleasure to come in here, and have top notch, knowledgeable service. It’s a little out of my way, but worth it to me to have staff that know their products and take the time to help you.
I’ll keep coming back.

I really like this location; we’re pretty lucky to have a little neighborhood hardware store that carries ALL the basics. I can’t count the number of times when I’ve planned my trip to Home Depot, and while getting groceries or coffee thought «I’ll see if they have it at Ace, then I won’t have to go all the way to HD». And they usually have it! The employees are pretty great, too. This is one store where you really feel like their job is to help you! They seem to really enjoy giving home improvement advice, trying to figure out your project with you, etc.
