Came in Sunday night without reservation. Place was busy but we are able to get a table within 10 mins. The hosts were nice, waitress was cool, and we were able to get a table by the window for the view(awesome!). We started with ½ dozen oysters raw, 2 of each on the menu. They were good, not the best I had, but pretty good. Little pricey at about $ 3 each(each type cost a little different). About $ 18/half dozen. But they are very clean and fresh! We also ordered the Cobb salad, and it is the star of the night! Super sweet mango, avocados, bacons, bay shrimps, bleu cheese… Too many good stuff in it! The only thing I can say is I’m used to see hard boil egg with my Cobb, but it doesn’t really matter since everything taste so good. For entrees, we had clam linguine and salmon taco. The linguine was okay, I wish for more sauce. The clams were very fresh. The salmon tacos taste VERY good, BUT I found a FISHBONE in my gum after my first bite! It hurts!!! If 2 fish tacos cost me $ 15 to $ 16, it should not have bones in them!!! We also ordered clam chowder, good flavor but it’s little sandy, little disappointed. The Pom martini was good, but a big piece of orange slice is little weir. Overall, I would give the flavor of the food 3 ½ to 4 stars. But the location and view adds ½ star. But the fish bone minus 2 stars! YES, it’s a big deal if a place is known for their fish, and you found fish bones. Can’t imagine what happen if I got fish and chips. If you come here with kids, try not to order salmon. If you must order fish, be very careful!!! Most likely I would come back again. But not sure what to order.

My favorite place to go on Sundays. The view is gorgeous, the staff is always so friendly and always eager to help me because of my dairy allergy. Gin Bloody Mary… delicious. Kumamoto Oysters fresh and tasty. Fish and chips… light and crispy. Looking forward to outside dining this summer!

Absolutely delicious! The waiter could have used a kick in his butt~ but given I had the best company in the world(my sister) I’ll overlook his overlooking us. They also don’t have a very wide variety of soda–

I started off with the muscles and clams combo. It tasted very fresh and had a good amount of them. The butter sauce could have been thicker as a personal preference. My main dinner was the crab and shrimp fettuccine. It was full of small shrimp and chunks of crab. It was very rich(but most fettuccine dishes are). I decided to get the wild blackberry cobbler for dessert. It came with vanilla ice cream as well(does not say this on the menu). This tasted amazing and I almost exploded at this point from all the food but it was so worth it. The price of $ 6 seems fair but the cobbler is quite small. My friend had their«award-winning» clam chowder. He said it was awesome. It was not too thick or thin and had a good amount of fresh clams. He had the Ling cod fish and chips. He said there was nothing special about them but they tasted great and fresh and we’re prepared correctly.

It’s one thing to receive a meal that isn’t quite up to par, but to have two is enough to permanently lose customers that will not recommend the restaurant. We ordered 4 things: Fish & chips House salad Garlic bread Fruit bowl The fish was cooked too long in the oil that it was greasy and burnt on the ends. My salad was a bowl off the ends of the romaine lettuce(yellow and wilted). The garlic bread did not taste fresh and was so dry that I had to ask for butter to make it more appeasable. Lastly, the fruit bowl honestly looked like a pile of bar drinks fruit. I was quite surprised given we have been here before and often brag about Anthony’s. We honestly left feeling like we had the restaurants last nights left overs. I’m not quite sure how any chef or server could feel comfortable or confident serving those dishes.

Nice selection of wine and beers to compliment a good selection of fish and non-fish menu items. I had the baked prawns with Manhattan clam chowder, my son had the salmon and the chicken sandwich was eagerly consumed by my wife. Well done, Anthony’s.

We always love coming here for Sunday brunch and 9 times out of 10 we have had Roger as our server. He is great! Energetic and funny. We come back hoping we will be in his section :) Even on cloudy days the view here is magnificent and the food is great! A post meal walk around the pier is always a great end to a stellar visit!

Went here as a spur of the moment and it was absolutely delicious. I had the oyster burger blow my mind. Definitely want to go back.

We were treated to lunch by a friend who recommended Anthony’s. Apparently this restaurant is very popular, so our friend encouraged us to arrive early, even on a weekday. The restaurant is located on the water. We were seated at a window and had a beautiful view of the water. This area on the waterfront is under redevelopment and will eventually become a hoppin’ popular spot in Tacoma. There were so many seafood choices. It was difficult to decide, but we ordered the calamari appetizer, salmon bowl, fish and chips, and linguine and clam sauce. Every meal was fantastic!!! The prices were very reasonable and service was courteous and friendly.

This is one of my favorite spots in Tacoma. I’ve been here multiple times for lunch, happy hour and dinner and I’m always happy. My favorite meal is the silver salmon. I also love both versions of their chowder. The kitchen staff has served me perfect seafood dozens of times. The atmosphere can be pretty busy at dinner time because they’re popular, but it’s worth the wait. I think it’s best to call ahead if you’re having dinner. Anytime I have a special occasion, this place pops into my head first. Also, there’s a great view of the ferry, Mt. Rainier and Sound. The outside area is perfect in the summer too.

No water… took them 30 minutes to ask what I wanted to eat or drink. I’m thristy and it’s not even a Friday or Saturday night. NEVERAGAIN. it doesn’t matter how good the food is. You don’t not give your guests water.

We always enjoy eating at Anthony’s locations when we travel to the Seattle area. We are delighted with their different locations, especially the one we can catch at the airport! Service is always friendly and they have wonderful brews! We have enjoyed their chowders and fresh appetizers. Their ahi tuna fish was divine. My husband enjoyed the surf and turf which came with fried oysters. It is currently peach season so I recommend a tasty peach slump

It’s my first time to the Pacific NorthWest. Driving here from Downtown Tacoma was great. What a beautiful drive! Great view. I ordered the fish and chips. It was okay. One of my deep fried fish came out soggy.

Seafood palace of old people in the Pacific Northwest! That’s Anthony’s, yo. Are there old people in your party? WELLTHENYOU’REGOINGTOANTHONY’S! Are you celebrating some sort of cliché family event? ANTHONY’S AGAIN. The good news is they rarely disappoint. Also, guess what? There’s an Anthony’s at the Port of — ANY F*CKINGCITYINWASHINGTONTHATHAS A PORT. Okay, I’m gonna calm down with the caps and bleeped profanities — this is a family place. I’m sorry, Grandmas. Prices are pretty darn reasonable for a «nice event» restaurant and the staff are always the kind of friendly that comes with local chains. So there you have it. Anthony’s, everyone.

I’ve been to this location a few times and it just NEVER disappoints. The service is great, the food is always well presented, and the location is perfect. There’s honestly just something perfect about eating at a seafood restaurant that’s out on the water on an actual pier. This time, my fiancée went with a salmon bowl and I went with trout. Well seasoned, good portions, and just all around yummy. The ambiance is both casual and classy, so its nice to see an interesting mix of people in shorts and in casual slacks, all just as comfortable. And its a place that deserves more than one visit! The menu has a lot of fare that changes seasonally!

I am writing this review while I am sitting at the restaurant because I really don’t have anything to eat, or wanting to continue to eat. We had a party of 8, a special occasion. First, our waitress(Shayna, seems to be a nice lady but not a good wait staff) kept telling us she’ll be back in a minute and not return. We had to flag her down to take our order. Once we order our drinks it was another good 15 min before she appeared with the drinks, then slipped away, not taking our order… so we flagged her down again(this was our common ritual to get any service from her. We flag her down, and she’d usually give us the«one minute» finger and not get to us for another 5 min. That’s IF we caught her eye.) Once we ordered, she forgot 2 of the 8 entrées and a side. I ordered the steak and asked for well done due to medical reasons. It was just burnt on the outside. I butterflied it and sent it back. Husband got his pasta order about 15 min after all the entrees were served(not sure if she foegot or if the kitchen forgot. Either way, he didnt get his entrée until most od our party was almost done eating). We had to flag down our waitress for any assistance, including ketchup for fries, refills, more drinks, etc. After a while, it wasn’t worth flagging her down so we just ate as fast as we could so we could leave. For someone who loves steak but had to get it «well done», it really did taste bland and tasteless. I didn’t have the heart or the patience to ask for a steak sauce. I’m disappointed with the service, especially since it wasn’t even busy. the food was ok. The best meal was the house salad, if that says anything. She just cleared the table. I was looking forward to their special peach dessert but forget it. Not worth the time or trouble of flagging her down for service.

What a disappointment. First off, when the host brings you to your seat you have to walk right through the kitchen’s service area. You have to dodge servers laden with dishes and endure the screaming and yelling of the all the employees trying to do their jobs with a bunch of guests walking through. Next, you get to your circus of a table. This place is SOLOUD, you can hear every and all conversations in the whole place. Add to that the fact that the kitchen and service area is completely open, you can hear every clink clank of dishes and piece of silverware. Our table was especially loud because the servers’ terminal was right behind our table so we got to hear all the loud personal conversations about what so-and-so is doing that evening and who has a pimple on their whatever. Our stack of appetizer dishes contained dirty plates. Not, like, a crumb or smudge. DIRTY, with a piece of dried up spinach or something across it. Unfortunately, when that one was discovered, I was already eating my mealy gross clam strips off of mine. I gagged a bit. Food was good. I got the Copper River salmon and it was amazing. Our server was efficient and friendly.

I splurged and I am so glad I did!!! First, there were so many amazing choices it was very difficult to choose. Add to that the daily Galley Sheet of specials… well I had to ask for guidance. I’m here for a short time and I’m not wasting any of that time sitting indoors. There were plenty of tables outside. After being seated and brought water, I asked if I could move to a table that skirted the deck. I was going to be taking pictures and I didn’t want anything in my way. The waitress was very accommodating. I started with a Fish Tale Organic Pale Ale. It went down nice and smooth. Now for dinner I was torn. I pointed to a few things that interested me and she recommended the Dungeness Crab Cakes. They sounded fantastic, though a little more, at $ 29.95, than I planned to spend. ITWASWORTHIT!!! Here’s the description — All Dungeness crab! Served with ginger plum sauce and beurre blanc. It also came with a tiny, fresh pile of sliced ginger rice and snap peas. The peas were lightly seasoned with green, sprigy things, and were light and crispy. The rice had some of the plum sauce poured over it. Don’t get me wrong, it was a very gentle pour. The crab cakes sat in just a hint of the beurre blanc. Between the plum sauce and the beurre blanc, again very delicately placed on the plate, I was beside myself with the amazing flavor combinations. But wait! The star of the show… the crab cakes! I’ve never seen a crab cake prepared like this before. I have to say when delivered to the table, they’re pretty nondescript. They looked like two Babybel cheese rounds that had been lighted breaded and fried. But cutting into that beautiful cake revealed something I’d never seen before. Encased in the lightly breaded panko shell was 100% Dungeness Crab. There was literally no filler and OHMYGOODNESS, the flavor was simply outstanding. I ate them slowly and somehow the crab stayed at the perfect temperature. Everything was perfect. The two sauces, which I used very sparingly, since the flavor if the crab was truly stand alone, imparted slightly different, delicious nuances to the crab cake. So, so, so good!!!

I first came here a long time ago before my senior prom, and remember not being too impressed with the food. Haven’t gone back until my cousin decided to have her birthday dinner there. Again, I wasn’t too impressed with my food, and neither were a few of my family members. I ordered the fried oysters, and they were puny for being a nicer seafood restaurant; not what I expected. Also it was a little overdone, a little on the burnt side, and can taste in some of the oysters. And the pastas that were ordered were a little cold. Most of us weren’t very satisfied with our dinner.

I was offered to come back and try Anthony’s again. It was really busy when we went back, they definitely aren’t hurting for business so I appreciate that the management reached out to me. We had a bit of a wait. When we finally sat down we ordered the sourdough bread as an appetizer because the food was taking a while to come out. That was good and inexpensive. Not a bad price but most restaurants bring that free and it probably should have been free because of the wait. My husband got the crab cakes and I had the crab and shrimp Alfredo. Both were good but overpriced. We found pieces of crab shell in the crab cakes, so that was disappointing. I have learned that I should not order shrimp items from the menu there because they are disappointingly tiny. The view is fantastic and that really helps the experience. Our waitress was efficient but not very friendly. Overall, we would definitely go back but stick to the cheaper priced menu items.
