Ben’s Appliance Service

My refridgerator was freezing the produce and eggs in the refridgerator part of the unit even though I turned the temperature down.
Repairman called and said he was running early and could he be there at an earlier time. Great.
The problem was a bottle pushing up against the gasket. Problem solved. NO CHARGE!
If I ever need any of my appliances repaired, they will be the one I will call. I am telling everyone I know about the great service.

Ben’s Appliance Service truly is as good as it gets. Elizabeth was efficient and kind, and Ben was prompt, knowledgeable and efficient while repairing my Sears Kenmore Front Loading Dryer. 5 stars not enough. Elizabeth was great and got back to me quickly every time I called. I called another company 3 times and they never got back to me,(Thompsons).Prompt service. Showed up right at time scheduled. Ben was efficient and knew all about my particular washer dryer combo. Was fixed in no time and Ben was pleasant and courteous to boot!

My oven door was stuck on lock and after googling the problem, it seemed to be something many people have experienced. I powered the stove down several times hoping to reset this feature but to no avail. I called Ben’s and left a message. I just had my Maytag dryer repaired by Ben’s Appliance Service in Tacoma. I couldn’t have asked for a better, more professional expert service. On time, quick repair, friendly demeanor, and cost of repair way less than I expected. His card says, «Service so great, you’ll glow!» Well, he made my day! I’m glowing, and «crowing» about how great the experience was. He’s old school, honest, respectful and very professional. I can’t say enough, except if you need a professional, call Ben’s!!!

Ben’s Appliance was prompt and good as others on Unilocal have reported. Repair was completed in short time at reasonable price. Ben (owner) was knowledgeable on details of appliance repair needed (clothes dryer), and also services other types and brands of appliances too. I would recommend Ben’s Appliance and will use again if appliance repairs are needed. He is located near Tacoma Mall so service in Tacoma area can be arranged through his courteous office secretary.

I regained a little bit of faith in humanity this past Friday. Our dryer was making a rattling noise, and at first we called Sears to have someone come out, since they were well known. Just to have them come out would have been $ 109, and would have been a while out from when we called. Plus they started molesting us about in home kitchen remodeling quotes, which we obviously did not call them about. I looked on google to find what other appliance repair companies there were and found Ben’s. The lady called me back promptly and acted professionally. They were able to come out in a few day from the call, and when the day came, they came early, and best of all did not charge us for what ended up being a very quick and easy fix. Saved us the $ 85 for the visit and the $ 55 (approx) for the part plus tax. That is how a company should behave. I know that we will be repeat customers.

I needed a repairman so i googled it, and then checked Unilocal,and since his ratings were so good i called and scheduled! Not only was he EARLY, which is so hard to find these days with 2 hour windows for service, he was fast and efficient. Very helpful for me since i have a toddler that needed a nap! My washer was not draining properly, not only did Ben fix it, but he showed me how to fix it myself next time! Who does that? Normally its a call if this happens again so they can make more money, but this company truly believes in amazing customer service, and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs appliance work!

Found Ben’s Appliance Repair on Unilocal when we were looking for repairs of a gas oven and a stacking front loading washing machine. Made the appointment over the phone and the scheduler was very pleasant and professional. They gave a 2 hour window for the expected arrival of a repair tech. He showed up on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable of both appliances. There was a service call fee that included diagnosing the problems. He was able to call his office to have the part that was needed delivered to our home while he was working on the other appliance. He fixed both problems and left the work area very clean and tidy. We have had other repairmen that have left trash, finger prints and stains all over the appliances and then left it for us to clean up. Not so with Ben’s Appliance Repair. I would use them again without a thought, and would recommend them to others

Ben just came to my house and had all of my front load washer/​dryer issues fixed in less than 20 minutes. Was super nice, great service, reasonable price and honest as all get out. Will use him as long as he is in business!

I am so impressed with the service I received from Ben’s and I would highly recommend them. I called another company to repair my employer’s gas stove and they attempted to arrive several hours later than they promised to be. As we could not wait around for them I called Ben’s and they were on time and 100% professional. They had to order a part and it came in earlier than expected. They accommodated our weird schedule and circumstances, and they were a delight to work with. The job even cost less than we were expecting! Elizabeth in the office was awesome to work with! I called Ben yesterday and he was able to come to my house today. In and out in under an hour with the problem with my dryer solved. Much less expensive than I had feared. He is extremely personable. Overall a good experience.

Ben was recommended to me by another appliance repair business owner who does not work on Maytag appliances. I called Ben’s office at 8:30 a.m. and explained my issue with my washing machine. I was given a very fair price for the repair work I needed to have done. I was told Ben would be here between 1 and 3 the same afternoon. 1:00 sharp… there he was.
