Betteridge & McNaughton PS

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Betteridge for over 15 years. He is always very patient and kind. I never feel rushed or like a number. He really takes time to listen and that makes all the difference as far as I’m concerned. His office isn’t fancy or new. It’s not a big deal to me. I choose medical care based on the quality of the care itself, not on having the latest décor. One thing that’s great about this office is that they take walk-​ins, time permitting. Frequently, I don’t bother to make an appointment, I just drop in at 1:30 when the office opens after lunch. Usually I’m seen within the hour. Very unusual, in my experience. I will say that the front desk staff can sometimes be brusque. Again, not a big deal to me because I’m there to see the doctor, not the receptionist.

I came in and was not greeted with the cold shoulder. As I waited, I noticed everyone who came in was treated the same way. Unfriendly and as far as you knew if that was your first visit you weren’t even in the right spot as the receptionist didn’t welcome you.
I waited way too long in the lobby and for the Doctor once in a room.
The Nurse and Dr. Betteridge were absolutely fine and friendly and helpful.
After seeing the Doctor I asked the desk about billing and my insurance I was treated like scum and they were of no help. I have been billed incorrectly by them before. My last visit which was Oct. 20, 2014 will be my last visit until they get new receptionists and billing staff. Customer service rating is −100÷10.

This place is disgusting. The building smells musty and slightly of pee. This should have been my first red flag, but I waited patiently.
I wanted to have a dialogue about the cause or any long term solutions; I was told that I have an «insert generic malady here,» to take an over-​the-​counter pain killer, then he fled the room.
My insurance was not billed properly, so this ended up being the worst use of $ 200 and 2 hours. Ever. I would rate this place −10÷10 and will never come here again. If you’re savvy enough to look these guys up on Unilocal,you may not want to either.
