Well, to start with, Bob’s was the place to go to when I was on a Destroyer back in the late ‘60s, and we tied up at the piers. Hell, it was an easy stumble home. My recollection was that it was a pretty good dive with decent food and plenty of beer. I still have a match book and am glad to know they are still around.

Bob’s is the only place to eat near the docks in Tacoma. I enjoy my beer… as for the food, If you are really hungry and can’t take the time to drive, then you really have no choice. I would rather drive the 15 minutes to ANYWHERE else.
