Concordia Lutheran School

Classic solid education. Immediately upon our first tour both my husband & I were smitten with Concordia. Small scale, accessible and hospitable staff. Sue, the receptionist greeted me with such warmth I knew I’d found an educational home for my kids.
Concordia may not be fancy in appearance but the commitment to teaching exceeds anything I see currently in education. Both my kids have attended since pre-​K and we’ve never had a bad teacher. What stands out most to me is the accessibility of the faculty and staff. Need to contact your child’s teacher? Most will respond to your call or text within hours if not sooner. Have a child with special needs? (my son has sensory issues and is gifted) Not a problem to accommodate strengths and/​or challenges. My mom-​friends all marvel at the artwork my kids bring home from school. The music education available is marvelous. In a world where increasingly schools «teach to the test» Concordia offers a comprehensive faith-​based education.
I am not a native of this area, however I quickly learned Concordia has a rich legacy in Tacoma. Parents who attended Concordia as children grow up to send their own kids. I can’t think of a better endorsement.
