The food is really good, but really pricey! We got 2 orders of short ribs, fried rice and kimchi for a grand total of $ 65.

My picture is on their restaurant icon! Woot woot. Their service is good but their food is so-so. I say good service because we came in 5 minutes before closing and they still welcomed us in. Another group came in 15 minutes after closing and they still served them. Kudos. Normal servings are 1. Their servings are 1.4. Big enough to have leftovers, small enough not to take it home.

Even though the food was great and authentic, service was non existent. The women would give our food and disappear. And with Korean food, we would need more side dishes, rice, napkins etc. you would think they would know that. We had to wave the lady twice to get the things we need. It looked like she was ignoring us on purpose. So overall the food was good but service is just as important. They might not know that. It’s a shame… good service was not their motto.

So good!!! I was looking for a phở restaurant but the one I liked closed down. So I suggested to my hubby that we try something different. Oh my GOD the food was so delicious and tasty. I think the waitress didn’t speak English very well but helped me pick out some good food! We will definitely be back… Yummy

I loved it, service was super nice and very fast, they checked up on us multiple times for water or if we wanted anything else, just a very nice experience over all!

I really enjoy this restaurant. I’m fairly picky when it comes to Korean food. What my White American friends find fantastic, I might feel is a bit lack luster. I’m spoiled, however, because my mother(Korean native) is such a fantastic cook, it is often unfair to compare. Going to Daewon Garden is great. The food is well prepared. There is a strong variety of banchan(the small side dishes served with your meal). There are Korean foods that I love that are served here which are too time consuming to make at home. My mother and I enjoy going and the prices are extremely reasonable. I have to say though image service is what I expect in a Korean restaurant. It’s not a typical American restaurant and if you are solely English speaking, you may find the consistent use of Korean off putting. However if you are looking for an authentic non-Americanized Korean meal, this is where I would recommend.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Me & my friends ordered lunch specials… The service was super slow.(Over an hour with only 2 other tables with people) No one came to help us for the longest… 2 plates came and it took another 20 minutes for a 3rd plate to come. I got chicken, I ordered pork. When I told the lady she insisted I ordered chicken.(probably would help to write orders down) No napkins, water, someone checking the table, nothing. When it came down to pay the bill, they charged my friend’s account more than what was on the bill… Check your receipts here and what is posted to your bank account… These people are scandalous…

The food is excellent. It is authentic Korean and so delicious. They definitely do not skimp on ingredients. And all of the small side dishes aren’t your usual Korean small side dishes. This is definitely a place for the more adventurous. I would give it five stars if not for the difficulty in communicating with the wait staff. But that’s probably more my fault since I feel like I am in Korea.
