We have been here twice, my daughter loves getting her hair cut. They have done a great job both times and were very attentive to my daughter’s needs. They let her choose what seat she wanted, they let her choose her own movie, they let her choose what scent soap she wanted. After everything was all over, both times her hair has looked so cute and perfect. I will be taking her here every time.

My toddler loves coming here. The staff is friendly and focused on making the kids comfortable.

Been coming here for 3 years now and today was the last time I will come. The last time before today I had my 5 year old daughter get her hair cut she has very very thick hair so I asked her if she would please razor it (with sheers) like I’ve had done myself in the past. Thinking nothing of it I turned my back for 2 min to check on my 2 year old son and when I turned around it was to late the damage was done she had actually taken clippers to the underneath of my daughters hair and shaved her hair. (she has longer that shoulder length hair.) –Explaining to me that this will make it less heavy and thick! Wth! I was so upset but didn’t want my daughter to know I was and get upset herself. Should’ve been the very last time I went … But I brought my kids once more today and noticed this time how dirty everything is. And she used the same comb she had just used on another kid without sanitizing it first! And only brushed off the clippers too! Gross! I kept on thinking while the other gal brushed my daughters hair if that brush hadn’t been sanitized either which I already knew in the back of my head hadn’t been just by really looking around and noticing how dirty all the implements and hair brushes were… I’m still crossing my fingers that my daughter and son don’t come down with a bad case of head lice … Uhg! Like I said NEVER EVER going back again! And you know what the kicker was … The same lady that butchered my daughters hair was doing her hair today and asked why her hair was cut this way. I explained that the last time I was here one of the ladies did it after I asked her to «razor» her hair. She looked shocked and confused at why someone would’ve done that… Hmmm… Yeah. Never again I’m going to try Wild Child next time.

I have been bringing my 3 kids there for awhile. I used to love it. Lately the quality has really gone down hill. Minh completely butchered all 3 of the kids’ hair, completely butchered. I didn’t notice until we got home. The time before that she charged me $ 20 for a French braid I never asked for, and didn’t approve. Never going back.

I’ve been brining both my boys here since they needed their first cuts & they have been amazing every time! It can get a little expensive but they do such a great job even when the kiddos are wiggling & moving that it is definitely worth the cost!

We took our eleven month old there because he could no longer see, his hair was so long! Really kid friendly and Min did such a great job. Highly recommend

I have tried this place a few times. It is expensive to get your kid’s hair cut here, which I am fine with since I am expecting them to be very good at their job. Boy was I wrong. I thought the first few times were flukes but this last time I was proved to be right. These people are horrible hairstylist that can only do the same hairstyle on all the kids and you walk away with a horrible haircut. I brought my child there in fear I would mess it up. But the hairstylist didn’t listen to a word I told her. And she proceed to cut the hair the only a style I have ever seen at this place. I even told her that wasn’t what I wanted but it was too late and she just said «ya it’s fine» I am so upset and now I have to live with an ugly haircut on my child. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. You will regret it.

Love the themed chairs and toys in the waiting room! I am giving this a four star rating because I think the place is over priced. It cost $ 20 for a ten minute trim, really? I also thought that the staff could be a little more friendly.

Had our little guys first haircut just shy of 6 months and Doris did an awesome job! He was all smiles the whole time, she worked with his wiggling around and gave him a bucket of toys to distract him although he just enjoyed watching her. We came by on a whim during the week after reading he reviews, there was no wait so we set him right down in a boat chair and she gently got to work. She even styled his hair and sent us home with a little snip it of his first haircut. We are very particular about our little prince and she did an awesome job. We will be coming back and recommending this place.

Great place I get my sons hair and my hair styled the same way by Minh. She’s the best.

Can’t say enough great things about our first visit– I have four children under the age of 10 and this has been BY FAR the best haircut experience I’ve ever had.
The décor and toys are amazing, and the ladies are beyond kid friendly. My two youngest never got bored the entire time. Theres play equipment, activity tables, multiple PS2 stations, snacks, cartoons and every chair is something fun (planes, trains, boats).
The cut itself was the best either of my boys have ever had, the stylist was straight up talented and FAST. She was great about consulting me throughout. My two year old is of course very active and all, yet she somehow manages to get a perfect haircut on a moving tiny head, magic.
To address the sanitary concerns some reviewers mentioned– the place was 100% spotless upon my visit, BUT… I did notice hair falling into the toy bins and did wonder if it was difficult to clean it well etc. but we went through two bins and both were spotless, the toys cleaner than ones at the Dr’s. But the «hair in the bins» madness is all for a great reason, the stylists use the toy bins to manipulate your child’s head for the cuts, for example she picks a small one up, shows it to child then quickly throws it back in which gets the child to look down at a sharp angle, allowing easy access for trimming the lower neck area. Parents could always decline the bins if worried, im sure they could accommodate.
Upsells were soft and we took every one to be honest, because they were reasonably priced and needed (special tangle brush, hair serum) plus I was so happy with the service was happy to support them.
Personally I was aware of the cost but it was well worth it to me. No lines, no appts, no rushing, no attitude, great cut, super kid friendly. Definitely going back.

My kid loves going there for hair cuts. Its the only place he will allow to cut his hair. Its a fun environment and friendly staff.

I almost want to give this place a 1 but I’ll go with a 2 just because the idea of the place is smart, they just fail in all the other areas.
No appointments just walk ins and the price is pretty hefty! $ 20 for a haircut that consisted on just a scissor cut aka trim and not the style I requested at all… our stylist seemed nervous, which I can understand but being that she cuts kiddos hair all day I would think she would be a bit more confident?
As stated in previous reviews the place could use some cleaning, I saw the bin of toys (&hair) and had to monitor what he picked up.
Did I mention the stylist snipped her hand and got blood on my sons shirt? Yuck!

There is one stylist, Shamiyah, that I always go to for my son. She is amazing for kids with Sensory issues. Haircuts are pricey, but Shamiyah makes it worth it for my son.

This is our third trip. Each time has been a success. Great customer service and the kiddos enjoy themselves

While I agree with others that $ 19 is a bit more than I would like to spend on a 2 year old, I am happy with their service. I’ve been twice now and have been pleased with the haircuts both times (had different stylists both times). It’s walkin only so even though I had to wait a bit, there was plenty of things to keep my son entertained during the wait. The first time he loved sitting in Thomas the tank and didn’t fuss a bit. The second time, he was quite a bit more fussy and I have to give credit to the stylist for doing a quick but thorough job! Will probably keep coming despite the cost since I can’t find anything else that I’m really unhappy with :)

This is where I took my baby girl for her first haircut (pixie). It was a good cut, but a wee-​bit pricey. I’m not going to complain, because I’d feel horrible paying any less. My baby turned her head right and left approximately 2,242 times in the duration of the 10 minute cut. Lots of toys to keep the kiddos entertained. I really don’t think my daught would have went for it any other way. PS. Am I the only one who sometimes gets the first two letters of each word transposed? Cracks me up every time I drive by the sign.

Cute place. My son is 13 months and his hair was past the point of me trimming it up myself. No appts– only walk-​ins. Doris did his haircut. She was great with him and his hair looks really good!
Pricey! $ 19 for an under 2 haircut. Plus it was my sons first so we did pay the extra $ 6 for a card with the date and a picture (not a good pic but eh) and a lock of his hair. Add on a tip and wow– that’s as much as I pay for mine.

I cannot recommend this place for sanitization purposes. This is a perfect example of how a good business can destroy itself. I will never be back here.
So our son just turned one. It was time for his first haircut. Between the wife and me one of us did not agree that he should continue to look awesome rocking a baby mullet. I was surprised to find that there were not that many kid haircut joints around. After searching Unilocal for kid places and found nothing, I went to Google and found Fun Cuts.
We walk in and our overwhelmed by the awesome kid friendly décor. This place had it made for kids. My son was so excited, he kept saying «ohhhhh» I was very pleased and excited for him to get his haircut somewhere fun! They had a typical up-​sale of a «First Haircut» card with the time and date and a place to save some of the hair. In typical first parents fashion we took the extra 5 dollar charge.
We go to sit down in his airplane chair and the lady brings over a small bin full of toys… and a bunch of other nasty crap in it. There were chunks of food, some liquid stuff, sticky balls of something, and not to mention a TON of random hair clippings. I quickly grabbed it and got one of his own toys for him to play with.
The haircut went smooth, he did not cry, and he did not complain. The lady did a great job. As he was getting his cut, I noticed the other lady going around cleaning the other stations. Each station had their own nasty toy bin, she would grab the bin, dump the toys ON THE FLOOR, and hit the bottom of the bin to get all the junk out. She would than pick up the toys off THE FLOOR and hit them against each other to get the remainder junk off them. I am so glad we did not let him touch those toys, we are not the parents that put our child in a bubble, however, we also are not the type to trust everything as safe. I mean, think of what they do when customers are not around… SCARY.
So after the haircut the lady was getting ready to take his picture for his «First Haircut» card, and of course the camera doesn’t work, big deal, we just opted out of that option. I was additionally annoyed when she asked what kind of tip I would be leaving, so the tip I left her was to be more sanitary… But then out loud I said 5 bucks, but seriously why can’t you find out after I give you my receipt.
It was a good haircut; however, I cannot recommend this place due to the obvious lack of basic sanitary concern.
