We discovered this place a few weeks ago and have already been back multiple times! They have a wonderful selection and we have loved every soup we have tried! The bread they offer is a perfect addition to the hot soups. We love this place!!!

So we dropped by on Saturday. My boyfriend was kinda sick, and I don’t trust my own soup making skills so we figured why not — soup always helps. I had the coconut clam — after they ran out of the lemon chicken :(but it was all good! I don’t normally like anything coconut but it was so subtle, the coconut actually enhanced my enjoyment. Truly, there are some wizards in that kitchen. My partner had the ham onions and Parmesan, which was excellent as well. I love the prices — affordable food that’s actually tasty and good for you. The worker was so nice as well — he made sure we both got something we wanted, and offered samples so that we left satisfied. Such a nice person. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

Good lord this place is amazing. They do one thing and they do it right. Between the records and the soup it’s a good thing they don’t have chairs, because I would never leave.

True — there’s no place to sit, and their hours are always weird, but I’ll still go so far out of my way for this stuff. I’m addicted! Hunter’s Meatball is my personal favorite but the Chicken Gorgonzola Tortellini is delicious as well. Grab a roll too, you won’t regret it! The best experience I’ve had with them was the first time I ever went. I didn’t know the payment policy and had neither cash nor my checkbook. When they said they would do an «I owe you» I laughed thinking it was a joke, but they were serious! I couldn’t believe how kind they were, knowing it was my lunch and not wanting to disappoint a first time customer. I appreciated it so much I came back immediately to pay the bill. They are a great addition to the community! (Just make sure you have cash when you visit them!)

This is the type of business that everyone should be financially supporting. I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and just never got around to it. Rarely did I ever find myself in Tacoma. Anyway I went to a fantastic fund raising event called EMPTYBOWLS — look it up & attend — I bought 5 awesome bowls. Anyway this restaurant their soups and time to the event. As a recent vegan I was ecstatic to have vegan options &1 was their Caribbean red bean soup * TRYIT * my boyfriend and I both each had several servings and now I have made it a point to stop by, twice. *Still not in Tacoma much. But how great, a local business giving back to their community, stay away from subway and try this place. Cash only* They do not have seating but they have a partnership with a bakery very nearby that also had AWESOME vegan treats. Trust me, this place is fantastic! Keep it alive :)

I’m addicted. I don’t care that it’s standing room only, or that it’s cash only, or that parking sucks. I tried 5 different soups and I bought them all. You will not be disappointed.

Love this place, I come at least once a week! So many great vegan and vegetarian options. The mushroom marsala is my absolute favorite soup in the world! And you can sample them before you buy– but be careful, it will be super hot. They offer fresh rolls and day old ones for a dollar! :)

I would love this place if the soups were not so salty. The flavors are good, but dang, some are so salty that even a spoonful is too much. Almost gave only 2 stars, but again, the flavors are good and I never had a problem with their service. I like that you can sample(at least gives you a chance to rule out those that just contain too much sodium for me), but I had it several times that although it tasted fine at first, that I could not even finish a small size because it just got too salty.

Love it here. I feel like it’s right outta Seinfeld. NOSOUPFORYOU! Except lots of soup available. They have a huge selection, which is awesome. So why four stars? Only because they all seem to have so much salty in them. Other than that – fantastic!

I am teeter tottering between a 2 and a 3 star review… 2 because I wouldn’t go back, but 3 because we didn’t have bad customer service like other Unilocalers have experienced. So lets just call it 2 ½. Yes, it is very affordable. They certainly have many varieties everyday – vegetarians and vegans can rest easy here. As others have mentioned, the soups are super salty(I tasted one meaty, one vegetarian, and one vegan). I decided on corn chowder while my husband got the spicy sausage artichoke. We took the soups to Corina Bakery as many have suggested since Infinite Soups is not a sit-down spot. When we opened up the soup lids, both soups had a thick layer of oil sitting on top, which really alarmed me. I did my best to spoon it aside and eat up. My corn chowder had a nice kick to it from the chipotle, and it was full of corny goodness, but the base was grainy instead of smooth and creamy. It reminded me of the time I made a roux incorrectly and then used it anyway… not a very pleasant texture. The spicy sausage soup had a nice heat to the broth, but it was white and watery, which I thought was an odd combination I haven’t seen before. He really enjoyed it, though, and gobbled up the whole pint with oyster crackers. It’s great that there is an affordable place for soup, but it’s not a place I would want to return to. I confess that I make a lot of soup at home, so I am particular about how I like my soup. Plenty of others enjoy Infinite Soups, though, including my husband, so good for them.

Amazing soups at great prices! Just get there early before they run out. It is standing room only, but there’s plenty of seating and pastries to pair at Corina, just down the street!

Best soups on the planet! This place is a real treasure for Tacoma. It’s an absolute«must visit» that only real Tacoma people know about. Bring cash– it’s worth it.

Needs better signage, but the soup was Devine! Many from which to choose, made daily in small batches. Take-out only. Eat at your place, or at a park. It would be nice if there were a few tables and chairs outside. And no soup Nazis here… Lol.

This is as close to a 5-star review as I am comfortable giving. The only reason is that it’s not 5 stars is because they don’t accept credit cards. The soups here are incredible. I have been here twice, had 4 different soups and they have all been mind blowing and soul enriching – in fact I heard that it was the chicken noodle soup here that inspired that book written by that guy like 20 years ago. Why he went with the chicken noodle instead of the Caribbean curried pork or portuguese sausage stew was his loss that day, but ultimately led to a much better book title. For serious though. The soup menu here is extensive and changes often. I won’t even bother saying what’s good, but everything I’ve tried has been good. Cant argue with free samples of soup either. Shut up and give them your money.

I really enjoy their soups and appreciate that they allow you to sample the soups. The soups are full of flavor and all the soups I have had always have a bite to them. I am a lover of variety and they always have several different soups and change up the menu often. I would def recommend this place if you’re craving a good bowl of soup. It is not a dine-in place and finding street parking can be annoying. I usually don’t have TOO much of a problem though.

I have been going to infinite soups since the day it opened! I have yet to have a soup I don’t like. The prices are reasonable(always have been, even when they raise the price it’s small incriminates and not often) and a good proportion to what you are getting. Also their menu is ever changing which forces me to try all kinds of soup! My only negative comments are the soup does tend to be on the salty side, but doesn’t bother me that much. I would recommend you don’t eat it too often if you aren’t a salt person. Also they have a tendency to run out of soups somewhat frequently. If you don’t go early enough, they might be out of a few kinds of soup. The customer service isn’t fantastic, however being as you have to be in and out, never been an issue for me.

Wow! Yum! What I love about this place is that there are options for everyone — meat eater, vegetarians, vegans, gluten free. The workers allow samples so you can try whatever you want. I tried the chipotle white bean soup(vegan) and it was mind blowing! Not too salty and perfectly spicy! Omg! I also grabbed some bread to dip in the soup. They also sell one day old bread for discounted prices. I think about .50-$ 1 each. I’m totally going back since I work near them!

Ages ago Seattle had a place called Nana’s. The soup there was phenomenal and the selection was robust. The changed locations, sold to someone else and sadly the business went downhill and died. No worries, there’s something even better in Tacoma. Sure, there’s no seating and no, they aren’t open for dinner but a huge selection? Yup, they’ve got that. Delicious? They’ve got that covered too. Most important though, their prices are reasonable. Beyond reasonable, the prices are downright cheap for what you’re getting. You’d be silly not to check this place out. Just remember to get some for dinner.

I like the fact that the menu is constantly changing… This means they are shuffling ingredients, selling new soup, not left overs, and you get the chance to try new soup! They give samples, so you have a choice each time you go to pick a soup that you’ll enjoy eating. The portions are decent and the food is high quality. When I visited, it was slow with just my group and a group leaving. Very small space, I’d leave strollers outside. The workers(probably owners?) were shrt of stern and seemed stressed out. This could be due to any personal affair for them. They could have just been having an off day, so I will not say they were«unfriendly», because I have only been(in) here once. Enjoy baked goods from local bakeries! This soup joint is super home style, fresh and quirky. Don’t you veggies and vegans fear, they cater you and you’re anti-gluten warriors.

Petit restaurant mais super bonne sélection et c’est bon ! Il y a quatre tailles de bol et ils offrent une demi baguette.
