Rudely turned away because they were«closing early for cleaning» after we drive 30 minutes in the horrible rain just to eat here & after telling the hostess so, wasn’t even offered any sort of compensation & there were no signs on the door even indicating an early closure. Not so sure I even want to return ever.

I order from Joeseppi’s on a regular basis and have never had an issue. Of course my orders are always to go and i have never actually sat down and ate there so I can’t speak for the service sitting down. The girls at the front desk are always super friendly and always have my order correct. I must say that the food itself in comparison to other Italian food I have tried is delicious! I enjoy the different sauces, wine and ingredients they put into their pastas, to me it tastes very authentic. Their salads are yummy, especially with the house dressing. I am definitely a fan of this place and would recommend for everyone to try.

I ordered seafood fettuccini. It was so salty, I don’t want to know how much sodium in it. Is that something wrong at cooking process or always like that? Pizza was greasy and salad is warm.

Great food and good service. The fettuccine and clam sauce are to die for. Thanks for having us.

This used to be our favorite place when they were in UP and called Mama Stortini’s. After they sold out and moved, we would go by after getting our Christmas tree. We went there a couple of weeks ago and will never go back. The hostess and her partner were very rude. They asked abruptly if we had reservations, it was almost 5pm. I politely said we didn’t. I told her we had 6, 2 adults and 4 kids. The very young gal had to bob her head as she counted each of us, then told us that the were very busy and that there were too many of us to seat us. Ignoring us completely, she started talking to the other, much older hostess, and I had to interject when could we sit? The older one said«Its’ Christmas and we are very busy, if you don’t have reservations you can come back after 8:30.» It is very unfortunate that a few people can quickly change your perception of what was a good place to eat.

We have visited this establishment many times and tonight we are not as happy as we usually are. We initially called for a large party and were told it would be over an hour wait. We decided to separate from our party and go to the restaurant by ourselves. When we walked in 15 min later it was practically empty. The food we enjoyed as normal however we noticed the prices increased, there was now a charge if you wanted extra breadsticks. Finally the service was not as great as normal. We will give it another chance due to prior visits and chalk it up to the day after Christmas.

Super dissappointing is an understatement. We ordered a late dinner after a very busy day and were famished. It took several calls to get an answer to order(first clue), I stood at the front desk for several minutes with no help(second clue), the restaurant was filthy all around the bottom of the walls and kitchen door(third clue). Our order was a fettuccine chicken, ham and pineapple pizza with mushrooms, and a ceasar. When we get home the pasta was unfortunately the worst I’ve ever had and was nothing more than noodles and oily blandness — there was no saving it. The ham and pineapple pizza we ordered had no pineapple and was on a very sad frozen-pizza-like-crust. The meal was unredeemable and went in the trash. Our tummies opted to stay empty rather than eat more than a few nibbles of this fare. Goodbye 60 dollars.

Warm family environment, we were greeted by the owner. Happy Hour seems good in the lounge. Dinner menu was mediocre I had the pasta trio, boyfriend had the salmon. The side house salad was pretty good. The salmon portion was bout 4 – 5 oz for $ 20…he asked for another portion or discount, they gave him another portion. I also had asked about the daily specials, which the waitress said they aren’t really doing anymore. The pasta was $ 18 it was just something that could be made at home, nothing special. We probably won’t go back because of the overpriced food. Maybe happy hour since they have half priced bottle of wine on Wed. I’m willing to try the deli though as I love the Italian style sub’s and sandwich’s are pretty much standard.

Very, very good service from a handsome man that was extremely friendly and efficient. There was also a polite older gentleman volunteering his time by greeting guests and checking in with them periodically. The ambiance was peaceful and we felt like family. The food was very good, as well. I love the creamy gorgonzola dressing. It’s so delicious! The steak was ok, a bit charred. Some people like that. The meatballs are a must try, even as a side dish. Calamari was fine, but the sauces were the real treat. I liked my chicken Marsala, but the sauce was quite thin yet had chunks of roux(odd combo) and the noodles a tad under cooked. The flavor was perfect, especially with each bite of mushroom. Wish there had been more mushrooms. Serving sizes are huge. Well worth the higher prices. It’s located in a strip mall, but it’s not a cheap dive. We will be back!!!

My daughter wanted to come to joeseppis for lunch today. When we arrived to a practically empty restaurant we were told we had to wait 15 minutes because there was only one server. The hostess was very unapologetic. I looked around the corner and saw only 3 tables seated. We are regular customers because my daughter enjoys the ravioli so much. We unfortunately will not be coming back any time soon. So disappointing

I attended a restaurant takeover to benefit our cancer center. It was our first time at this restaurant. The owner, Joe, sat down with us and welcomed us. The lasagna was delicious. So was the cheese tortellini with butter and Parmesan. You can see the kitchen and the chefs prepare the meal. The service was fantastic. Of course it was the cancer center staff helping out so that was a plus. It deserves its best of western Washington 2014 award.

I think it is interesting that people talk about Joe and his visiting the tables. Apparently tonight they had issues and where was Joe — he left and put the bartender in charge. The makings of a disaster. We had made reservations 6 weeks ago for our theater group of 13 and told them we had a time constraint. They felt 6:00PM would be more then sufficient. Renee and I were seated earlier — around 5:45 and I planned to buy an appetizer while we waited. I tried to get a server for 15 minutes but they kept saying, «Shortly». Never got to order the appetizer nor did we get any water until after 6:10. Our group was complete by 5:55 At 6:20 I finally went to find a server — the lady who was supposed to be our server was over taking orders from another table — a 6 top — that had arrived after us. I went over to the table and inquired if she was our server — she replied yes she was and would get to us when she had time. Finally she came and I will say — efficiently took our orders. At about 6:40 I went to the men’s room and noticed a bunch of salads on the counter. After I was done — I returned to the table and asked if anyone has seen our server — nope. I asked for the manger on duty and was told the bartender was in charge. I went and found him and pointed out the salads on the counter stating I believe they are ours and I would be willing to help deliver them. He came out and verified I was correct and that they had been sitting up there for a while but he would take care of getting them to our table. It took another 5 minutes and it was after 6:45 before we got something to eat. No bread — nothing. I am now starting to get concerned about the time and asked about dinner and was told it was coming. Around 7:10 or so I collect the empty salad plates — no one was checking our table nor busing it — and brought them over to the serving section — noticing a bunch of plates were sitting there. I asked a passing server and the cooks and they agreed they were for our table. Finally one of the other servers said they would take care of it and I went back to my table. 5+ minutes or after 7:20 we got our food. My spaghetti was cold — my meat balls was barely warm. Others complained their food was dry and not warm — all of which leads me to believe that our server(hate to use that word and insult others) totally neglected our table. Most Italian restaurants provide Parmesan cheese to add — either they do not or the server could care less about providing a good meal.
My water was filled once in 2 hours(5:30 to 7:30) I was there. We each got one piece of bread — even though there were long delays between foods. The majority of us finally got boxes and left since they ran out of time. After many years of management experience I have found that customers are more understanding and patient if they are told what is happening. I don’t know what went wrong — other than no manager on duty — but if they were shorthanded — someone could have let us know with an apology. Providing a appetizer or even bread as a form of apology and to give us some food works miracles. The waitress who was supposed to be our server — did nothing until I got up and pointed us out. I had to find her to get our orders taken(I believe she helped at least two other tables before us), I had to get the«manager/bar tender» to deliver the salad that had been sitting there, I had to bus the table to clear off the salad bowls after 10+ minutes and finally I had to get servers to deliver the food. Finally — knowing we were running late — she took her time running the credit cards and bringing back our bills for signature.

Joe is a wonderful host and loves talking with his guest. The menu is full of variety and every dish is thoughtfully created. The service is quick, but they also let you eat in peace, very Italian culture like. The atmosphere is not quite Italian culture like, not many actual photos, there are many paintings(local artist selling). I had the lasagne, very tasty, a little to much sauce for me, but everyone else thought it was perfect. Huge portions, can you say take home. Prices was good and equal to food qaulity and service.

The friendly staff can’t make up for the overpriced, bland food. I really wanted to like this place, but can’t.

Yuck, yuck and triple yuck! Very bland, salty sauces with overly cooked pasta! I’m guessing that instead of «family style» pasta, they were going for«Nursing home style» pasta? The interior is more like a hospital cafeteria from the 80’s except it felt very unsanitary. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy stepping out of my snooty pasta palaces for a nice cheap pasta dish occasionally, like what you get at the Spaghetti Factory, but this… this was just horrible. Thankfully we were given a gift certificate so we didn’t have to pay for it ourselves. I don’t think I ever would have forgiven myself for paying for food like that.

As the three stars indicate, it is A-ok. I didn’t find anything paticularly thrilling about this place other than the lounge looks amazing to chill out in. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and it was ok. It had a sauce to it which was supposed to pass as spicy but felt muted instead. The cooking of the chicken was fine and the side salad I had was very good. The service seemed sluggish throughout the meal. It was always friendly but the wait time seemed longer than it should since it wasn’t that busy to begin with. So the experience was just so so.

This place is really good for people who have a very mild palate. That sounds like an insult, but there are a lot of people who won’t try something if it’s too«out there” — like my family. For me, it was a little too bland overall, but I would probably give it another shot-if only for more tiramisu(best I have EVER had)! I got the trio, which included spaghetti with meat sauce, fettuccine Alfredo, and cheese tortellini with a tomato basil cream sauce. I got a side salad(or you get soup with your meal, if you prefer) with Gorgonzola, which was really rich and flavorful. I added prawns to the Alfredo, but it still didn’t add a lot of taste to the dish overall-I had to ask for more Alfredo sauce. The cheese tortellini was the best part of the dish, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the tomato basil cream sauce. I took two bites of the spaghetti and gave it to my boyfriend. The Spumoni ice cream is excellent(and cheap!), and the tiramisu is HEAVEN. It tasted more like a hybrid tiramisu/cheesecake concoction, rich and thick instead of creamy and custard-like. Next time I go I will probably get an entrée salad or try the tortellini with the wild mushroom sauce. The best thing about this restaurant is that the owner shakes your hand and makes you feel welcome. How many places nowadays do that?

I’ve always heard good things about this place, so I swung by for sandwiches to-go since I was dropping off lunch nearby to my beau. The ambience is welcoming. I sat waiting in an inviting U-shaped sofa and browsed their dinner menu. The sandwiches come with chips, soup(only two-a sausage one and a chicken cheese tortellini) or green salad, which was nice change to being stuck with a bag of chips(I didn’t to ask what brand). Onto the food. my grilled Bev’s veggie on a focaccia(served on wheat unless otherwise requested) was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Loaded with seasoned eggplant, bell peppers and melted gooey cheese, my taste buds were dancing! I wasn’t impressed with the chicken cheese tortellini soup so I chose to dip my sandwich in it. I picked him up the Sheila sandwich(grilled)and he said it was sooo gooooood –fresh and hearty. I waited 20 minutes for my order after paying so if you’re in a rush, I recommend you call ahead! Despite the long wait and some bad reviews, I was intrigued enough to want to come back for dinner before I ate my sandwich. reasonably priced with tons of options. Which makes me think that perhaps the kinks of prior reviews have been wrinkled out.

Amazing food! My sister Kimmie and I shared the trio plate and I couldn’t believe that it was a shared plate! I wish I had taken a pic before I chowed down but damn!!! It was beyond bomb! The garlic cheesy bread was phenomenal as well! We ended with cannoli and cheesecake and everything about our dinner was beyond fantastic! Will definitely come back! P. s. The owner also comes by and greets you!

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave this is a class act! The service was fantastic, the owner Joe comes out and greet each of his guests and discusses what some of his favorites are, the staff … treat you as if you were at their home, and the food is amazing! We tried an appetizer, a main course, soup and salad… bread sticks and a dessert! This place beats other Italian chain restaurants for sure. Our personal recommendations would be Joseppi’s trio, the chicken marsala, and definitely the sausage soup! I am pretty sure everything on the menu is wonderful! This gives us a reason to come back again and again! One more thing… Our waiter Andrew was accommodating and made sure everything was perfect and to our satisfaction!
