This location takes forever to get the food and gets the order wrong! Also they never give you a receipt worse A&W /​KFC ever

We’ve tried them twice, each time they messed up our order and we have to pull over out of the drive through to wait 10+ minutes for our order to be brought out. Won’t be back.

Ordered two 10 piece meals. After waiting several minutes, the staff informed me that they had given the last grilled chicken to someone else who ordered after me. Waited for 30+ minutes after. Will not come back to this location.

Worst service ever. I gave them benefit of doubt when we walked in and the computer system was down and it took her ten mins to realize she could write down my order until she could ring me up. Then 20mins later when she did ring me up she didn’t give me correct amount of cups and when I went to get the correct amount she argued and didn’t bother looking at register paper. She just argued and then she finally saw I was right and she was wrong she gave me the proper amount of cups.
43 mins after I walked into the KFC we got our food half of it was cold and was just not good. The service there sucks and they don’t care if you have to wait and if the food is cold.

For being the king of fast-​food chicken, this KFC location seems to lack it’s namesake: chicken! Every time we *used to* go there we would order chicken strips, or chicken combo meals, or whatever kind of chicken and invariably they would tell us it’d be «just a few minutes.» We would then wait for over 10 minutes before we would ask a staff member about our order, at which point we would be told the chicken would be done cooking shortly. Wait– what? Why wouldn’t they just tell us there wasn’t any ready when we ordered it? After another 10 minutes or so a different staff member would be sent over to tell us they actually didn’t have what we wanted to order, so could we please change our order? However, upon asking staff what was available, they would admit to not actually knowing. The last time it happened I demanded to speak with the manager and asked for a refund, which he tried NOT to give me. After arguing, and my threatening to call an area director, I was finally given a refund — which took him another 5 minutes to figure out how to process. The place is never busy, but somehow the slowest «fast» food restaurant I have ever been to; the staff are useless and hang around in the kitchen yelling swear words and inappropriate phrases at each other; the dining area is always dirty; the manager is a complete idiot and totally useless! Needless to say I don’t plan on returning, and actually tell visitors not to go there.

Do not eat here. Bad service, horrible food. I live up the road and know the food service industry. Sanitation is low, and wait times are high. Customer service, that needs improving as well. Minus one star!

When I first saw the one star rating, I thought this place deserved better. But the more I thought about it, the more I decided it is really not the best place. Yes, it is a fast food restaurant, but that doesn’t automatically make it worse. I want fast food for a cheap price, and this place offers KFC and A&W. We come here for the cheese curd, which is always delicious, but the problem lies in what other food to get with it. We usually dine in, but as previously mentioned, there is always a long wait even if we are the only ones in the restaurant. Next, they just come across as cheap. They have a promotion to buy a big A&W root beer mug, but then you have to pay for the soda to fill it. Seriously? The tables and seats are always sticky. They have been out of multiple sodas multiple times and non too prompt to remedy that problem when it is brought to their attention. There is always plenty of parking and it is conveniently located off of Pearl and 30^th, so while it’s not great by any means, I’ll keep coming back.

This location is a KFC /​A&W hybrid restaurant.
I suppose it’s my own damn fault for going to a fast food chain in the first place, but the meal I was served here last night was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I happened to be in the area and looking for something convenient, and since I hadn’t been to an A&W restaurant for several years I thought I’d give it a try– big mistake!
This place has a huge menu with all of the KFC stuff on one side and A&W on the other. I wound up ordering double cheeseburger combo meal. After about a ten minute wait (even though the place was empty when I arrived), my ‘dine in’ meal was served in a paper ‘to go’ bag. I took it back to a table and unwrapped a «cheeseburger» that contained two dry, overcooked, and barely warm patties that must have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The french fries were bland and barely warm as well. Even the A&W root beer, which signs throughout the restaurant proclaim is ‘made fresh daily’, tasted just like every other corn syrup cocktail dispensed from a Coke machine– not at all like a *real* draught root beer. The whole meal was disgusting.
Of course, I should have taken this garbage back and asked for either a fresh replacement or my money back so I could go elsewhere. Unfortunately, however, I was pressed for time and during the wait for my shit sandwich several other unlucky bastards had descended upon the restaurant lobby– thus ensuring that such a request would be a very long time in being fulfilled. Oh well. I choked down what I could and figured that I learned a lesson for my $ 7.xx: never eat here again.
There are lots of great places to eat in Tacoma, and even some decent fast food chain stores. Just stay away from this one.

It pains me to think that this was my first job many moons ago at this location. I have made an executive decision to never go back to this particular restaurant because they mess up my order EVERY TIME I GO HERE! What is so hard about order accuracy? I don’t know but they seem to struggle with it. Save your time & money and go somewhere else.
