Run off the mill Kmart. But when we went one weeknight, there was hardly anyone there. The shelves were completely stocked up but no one buying. Since it is less crowded and much cleaner than the other Kmarts I have been to, it may sound strange but I kind of liked it. :p

Pro: They have great deals(if you know how to find it), especially with the shop my way program. I love this program! Sometimes they have offers like, spend $ 10 get $ 10 back in rewards. The program is awesome! Otherwise, their prices are regularly a little bit higher than Fred Meyers or Target. Con: Never seem to be able to find help on the sales floor. I generally have to either go to the front lanes or back in electronics. I generally only shop in sporting goods, housewares, and groceries, so it could be low traffic departments. Beside that, I would say the customer service is average in the 10 years I have been shopping here.

The 80’s called and they want their store back! Wow, this store is like a blast from the past. Only thing different is they no longer have the blue light specials. The store seems to always have cardboard boxes, crates and carts tossed about in the aisles for customers to stumble over. The employees are very rude and make no attempt to be friendly or helpful and will in fact bump into you and give you the evil eye. This area gets a little rough at night… so be careful.

I love this place for their huge selection of Hot Wheels cars(I used to collect). They also have a nice housewares section. I love the selection on some items, but not all. My only complaint here is that some of the cashiers are not very friendly. Don’t waste your time trying to crack a joke or get them to smile. It won’t work. And there’s a bum that sits in the café from open to close with papers all over the table and drinking a pop for hours and hours. He’s really creepy. I ran into him in the restroom once and thought I was going to catch his cooties. Like Rusty said, it’s K-Mart. You get what you expect here. Oh wait, not always! I expect a decent food selection, which this store doesn’t have, especially their coolers that are almost always down to one or two items in each door. Heck, they only carry like 3 flavors of yogurt for example. No thanks on this store unless it’s something I can get elsewhere for about the same price, like batteries or office supplies or other stuff. At least the employees at their Lakewood store crack a smile now and then! I actually prefer to drive all the way to Lakewood if K-Mart is having a killer sale.
