MAC Cosmetics

Went to the Mac counter in Nordstrom at the Tacoma Mall recently. This time I had the worst customer service. I wish I knew who the staff member’s name. They were not busy at all, my 2 friends & I were the only ones at their counter. I was the only one trying out lipsticks, needing some help finding the perfect lip liner that matched it. No one came to help until 20 minutes later. I asked her to help me match a lip liner for the lipstick I was trying on, she didn’t seem like she knew what she was talking about at all. She said all lip liners are different to the lipstick, so how do I want the shade. I told her I wanted one that was closes to the lipstick. She handed me a color & told me here’s one and said «I’ll place it right here for you» & walked away…
Every time I’ve been to a MAC counter or store, their employees have right off the bat knew exactly what color each lipliner went w/​what lipstick I tried on, suggested me colors, told me what looked good on me the most, etc. basically great service. But this girl sucked! The way she responded to what I wanted, didn’t seem like she had much confidence compared to other employees I’ve ever experienced & her just walking off leaving the product on the counter for me to try & to go talk to her coworker, giggling, was just bad service.
I really liked the lipstick I tried on but decided not to bother making a purchase there due to the bad customer service. I’ll go to another MAC.

I go here often the girls have always been lovely sweet and helpful! never overly pushy they always show me the products they know I’m going to love since I’m in there a lot and they know what I’m looking for.

I will never go back to get my makeup done here. I had a terrible experience my artist didn’t even know what she was doing. I was so frustrated! When I arrived there I was pretty much ignored and I had to keep asking about my artist. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

In Nordstroms. Doesn’t have that big of selection:(love Mac but I rather be at one of their stores.

I adore MAC cosmetics. I feel like a kid in a candy store when I visit their counter, drooling at the sight of the shimmering rainbow of products. I want it all, and like a greedy, adult version of Veruca Salt, I want it now. They make it way too easy to spend money here.
Boy, do they make me happy though. The colors, packaging, quality, and artists consistently deliver. If MAC was a person, I’d want to marry them. Immediately.
The staff at this particular location is amazing; super helpful, always friendly and social, remarkably talented and creative. MAC artists are the best of the best, and they will make you look H-​O-​T! It blows my mind seeing some of the makeovers these people pull off. Freaking magicians, I swear.
