WORSTSERVICEEVER! DONOTUSETHISSTORE! I recently went to this unprofessional location to have my laptop fixed. He told me he would call me if the estimate was above $ 100. He called me and told me it would be above $ 100 but never called me again to tell me how much it would be. Initially he said it would be finished in about 1 to 2 weeks. A month and a half later he finally called me and said that it was done. I came in and was shocked to see that the bill was $ 450. I asked him why it was so much and he would not provide any receipts for any of the parts that he supposedly put in to the computer. Nor any of the warranties for the parts. I told him that I was unsatisfied and he didn’t seem to care. About one month after this the battery he installed exploded. I was so frustrated with dealing with him that I put off going in for a couple months. I called him and told him what happened and he told me to go f#%k myself!

I brought my perfectly functioning computer here because I had numerous vertical lines on my monitor. After Mark’s work up, it was determined that I needed to have the video board replaced, which I agreed to. I also decided to increase the system memory and software. It cost me $ 560 for his services and parts. I returned home with my computer to find out that although the lines were no longer an issue, my computer wouldn’t start or function! I returned my computer to him, within two weeks, and he said it sounded like an issue with my hard drive. He wanted to charge me for the additional diagnostics. I took it elsewhere. I left him a computer containing family pictures, tax information etc., paid him over $ 560 to repair lines on the monitor and ended up with a broken computer that has not started since he serviced it. I’m all about supporting local business, but I would search for another.

I went into the Mac Guy store on a rainy day and told him that I thought I might need a new battery. He said, «Okay, I’ll get you a battery for much cheaper, Mac is trying to cheat you, $ 85 and I’ll give you a SUPER battery.» He also said«I don’t know what else the problem could be.» When battery arrived, he installed it overnight, said it works great(6 hours!), and charged me $ 147. I took my computer down the street to the gnome, and see that my fully charged battery life was exactly the same as before the new battery(less than 2 hours). Among other things, apparently I should have asked for a diagnostic in the beginning. Even if I had asked for a diagnostic, this doesn’t change the fact that he charged me $ 62 than I was originally quoted and wasn’t particularly helpful through the process.
