Look y’all I’ve been to a few other Mongolian restaurants and this is by far the worst. Save your money don’t go here. All the the meat and veggies had clearly been sitting out far longer than they should have been, and on top of it there was hardly anything out. It’s only 5pm you’d think they would try to replenish their supply. A lot of things clearly need a good scrubbing. The waitress was nice and on top of things though. Don’t waste your money, I repeat don’t waste your money!

Wow, rough crowd. I love this place! All you can eat Mongolian grill, yum! Great selections of meat, veggies and sauces. As soon as you sit down they bring you soup, rice and egg rolls! The egg flower soup is my favorite! It appears to be family run and the people are so nice! My husband and I eat here whenever we’re in the area.

Pretty sure I just paid 15 bucks for an 8 dollar bowl here. Getting my food to go I was confused when I had to pay the all you can eat price sit in price. Does this mean I can go back and get another bowl???

DONOTEATHERE. I experienced it once, and have heard it too many times. Go ahead, walk in there and see if you want to eat there.

Honestly, this place has way worse reviews than it should have. Its not super dirty, the food is not terrible, the cook isn’t super nice admittedly, but the waitress is. And it does seem like they have signs that are in your face about not wasting food. But a near 1 star rating just seems unfair.

This place is the biggest rip off ever! We payed $ 76 for 3 people… at LUNCHTIME on a MONDAY! $ 76! All you can eat my ass! ONE Corona costs $ 8.50! First, nobody greeted us upon arriving, then after seating ourselves I went to find the restroom and the smell inside was so disguising I decided I didnt even want to wash my hands. Either way I figured the food would be good(I hadn’t had Mongolian in so long) so I gave it a chance. I had to grab 3 plates from the«clean» plates to find an actual clean one … The disgust for this place and it’s poor customer service is unbelievable. How is this place still open???

This place is not good. The selection of ingredients is terrible, what they do have is not good. The meats were not frozen, they were thawed out. The vegetables did not look good. The staff were unhelpful, and it is more expensive that other Mongolian grills I’ve been to. My advice is to pass this one up

There is absolutely nothing good about this place, except the list of sodas, so you don’t have to ask. I have never eaten anything so bland in my life! That’s after attempting to drown it in sauces at the bar. Speaking of bar, the variety of choices is non existent. I am so disappointed it’s almost impossible to express. I may be slightly spoiled by jasmines in federal way, however the Mongolia grill on river road is a good substitute. I assumed I would be getting something edible since I was picking it myself. The flavor gods must make visits here and attack the food on a more than regular basis.

My experience only consisted of me washing my hands in their dirty bathroom and then telling my group to leave. It was hands down without question the dirtiest bathroom I’ve ever seen outside of a rundown truck stop. It didn’t even have paper towels. I’m sure they don’t own a mop, or maybe the handle is broken. The rest of the restaurant looked equally as untouched with sanitizer agents. It should be shut down. The lady had the nerve to go throw salt out the front door as if to clean the bad vibes out of the place. She should use her energy to clean the mold and bacteria out and we would have probably given them money for food.

This place should be shut down. Wish I would’ve read up on it before eating here. Everything about the taste is bland, everything is watered down.

This place was awesome. My wife and I walked into the door and immediately see a HUGE fish tank. I’m an aquarium enthusiast and my jaw hit the floor. Instead of having plants or rocks or anything a normal aquarium has, it only had one fish in there so he had a lot of extra space to swim and stretch his fins out. Who cares about being fed or being able to hide in plants when you can just have all that extra space to swim. The waitress showed us our table and we ordered our drinks. I ordered an orange soda and instead of all the sugar a soda pop normally has luckily what she brought me could be catagorized as mildly orange flavored water. Less calories so that was awesome! We get up from our table and head to the beginning of the line. Luckily this Restaurant had a bunch of signs telling me that I could only grab two bowls and I wasn’t allowed to push down on the meat to add extra. If those signs weren’t there I would have put more food than I bargained for. We finish getting our meat and vegetables and got to the sauces. I really wanted sesame oil but it was unreachable so I settled for garlic sauce. We got our bowls ready and got to the cooking station. The cook grabbed our bowls and grunted while he threw our food so elegantly on the grill. His choice of cooking utensils were extremely long drumsticks. As he moved our food around the grill with said drum sticks and pouring soy sauce every three seconds it sounded like he was in the symphony making music for the Mongolian grill gods to bless our food. He put our food into bowls and I anxiously got back to our table with my fork in hand ready to dig in. I’ve been to many Mongolian grills in the past and nothing tops this one if you like plain food that tastes like paper. Not just wide ruled paper. I’m talking the five star college ruled paper you get in high school. Luckily I saw another sign that said if we wasted food they would charge us an extra 5 $ so I put the good into my belly extremely fast as if I couldn’t taste it. My wife couldn’t finish her five star meal so I devised a plan to wrinkle up my napkin and tossed it in her bowl. That trick worked! We got our bill and I couldn’t believe that for all of that we only had to pay 38 $!!! You’d think we went to El Gauchos. If you like incredibly dull interior design, watered down drinks and food that tastes so plain that salt can’t even help it then this is the place for you. If you actually like your body and taste buds you have a better chance eating out of the dumpster behind Phở Ever that’s 20 feet away. The coolest part of the whole experience was the out of place deer head mounted above our table. I’m pretty sure the cook killed it with his bare hands and put it in the buffet labeled lamb.

I was super excited to find this place and did not read up reviews first. Very poor on my part! If I was able I’d give this a minus 2 stars. I would not return ever again. Bad food and super unfriendly service. Amazed they have a business at all. There was our table and another with no additional guests while we were there. Honestly very bland, poor quality and the cook will not even look at you. Keep your money.

Like everyone else I wish I would have Unilocaled first. Food didn’t taste fresh, zero flavor and not much selection. The store however was clean and the service wasnt bad.

Lord have mercy on my innards. I wish I would have checked this place on Unilocal first. Damn you Phở Ever for being so busy that we decided to eat here instead! As soon as we saw the choices, I asked my boyfriend why the meat looked like dehydrated dog treats. He said that they were probably frozen so I went along with it. The vegetables definitely were old and looked similar to the meat. Dry and wrinkled. The sauce selection didn’t seem bad until you read the choices. I tried the kung pao chicken and when my food was done being cooked, the only flavor on my food was a nasty old bland one. I had to douse my concoction in siracha to make it edible. The«all you can eat» whatever you would call that, came with a spring roll and some wonton chips which seemed promising! The wonton chips were stale and cold and were soft instead of crunchy. We asked if we could get more spring rolls(it was all you can eat wasn’t it?) Or if we could order some and she said that we could only each have one… Uhhmm. Okay. We had to force ourselves to finish in fear that they would try and charge us $ 5 extra. There is no way that anything we could have mixed and made would have been worth $ 12.99 and they didnt even state the price. I can’t imagine this place being in business much longer. There was a to go box of chicken wings that we saw on the ground last night and my boyfriend said that if he had to choose between those chicken wings and eating at Mongolian Grill again, that he’d eat those chicken wings off the ground. Save your time, money, and appetite and go anywhere else. Literally anywhere. Side note: they had fish in fish tanks with no rocks, foliage or anything. It was sad.

2.5 stars, nothing over the top. It was good, not great. I tried a few different dish combos and liked all but nothing stood out for me or my son.

I was really hoping the 30 Unilocalers were wrong and this wasn’t as bad as the reviews say — but The initial appearance of the place is dismal and needs to be fixed up. Looks like a restaurant that is shutting down. We love the Mongolian Grill in Federal Way and I have to compare it to that since it is my closest similar restaurant. They have less choices — although there are plenty but the meat is not the same quality. I never leave anything at the other place — here I left half my dinner. I believe the noodles are different and either have no taste or a taste that I did not care for. I put plenty of oils on my dishes but they tasted bland.(I believe it is cheap meats and different noodles.) I gave them 3 stars primarily due to the service. The food at best is 2 star. Our waitress was very helpful and went out of her way to help. — although the restaurant on a Friday night was almost empty and so she was not that busy I also love that sign — if you waste food we charge you extra. No guidelines as to what that means.

This was a weird experience for me. Not what I imagined at all. I thought it was one of those restaurants where you sat down and the chef cooks in front of you. But it was actually a chowmein buffet. When you walk in you go this stand where all the ingredients are lined up and then you add the sauce you want and then you hand it to the chef. The chef cooks the noodles in this big hot stone table but what was weird was that not only I had added my own sauce but the chef adds his own soy sauce base which makes the noodle more salty. I watched the chef kept on adding the sauce and noticed that he used almost half a pitcher of sauce to cook my noodles. That’s not all that was weird. The waiter kept watching us which was why when we were almost done with our drinks, she was there in like 2 seconds to refill our drinks. It was uncomfortable and the place was empty, but it was the only place opened this late and we were tired of fast food. Now I wished I grabbed fast food instead. The ingredients that we picked in our bowl were also very dry. Majority of the veggies were shriveled down and the meat did not look fresh.

Don’t eat here. This needs to be on an episode of kitchen nightmares. The atmosphere: First clue that should’ve sent me running out the door is that it was completly empty, not one soul was in there other than two workers. They had fish tanks that were either empty or had two fish in it that looked lifeless. The fish tanks were completly filthy. Felt bad for the fishies. When the owner doesn’t care about the little things or upkeep of their restaurant, usually their food matches. The food: The vegetables were withered and aged, they did not look fresh. They didn’t have many options for veggies. The oils and sauces were watered down. And than to top it off when i went to pay, my lunch was $ 15 dollars!!! I was floored! My fault for assuming it wouldn’t me more than 8 or 9 bucks. I’ve seriously never paid more than that for mongolian grill food for lunch. After eating and trying to choke down my food, my blood pressure went out of the roof knowing that I spent that much on crap food. Sad but I honestly don’t see them in business for very much longer.
