My grand child had her pump put in. She is doing so much better. She can finally bend her limbs. I am so happy.

I was informed I needed a complicated, high risk surgery that would require a board of doctors in a consult because the type of surgery and location of a large tumor. I made an appointment to consult with Dr. A Harris, neurologist from Multicare. The appointment had a 2 hour wait because the scheduling staff made an error. When I finally got to the exam room it was about another 45 minutes and I was about to just walk out. At that time Dr Harris, came into the room and started the conversation like this «I’m a very busy man and don’t have time for a lot of questions»
He was shockingly arrogant and I knew that I wasn’t going to trust my life to a doctor that made me wait nearly 3 hours that gave me 5 minutes. Fortunately I found a highly rated neurologist educated at Harvard in Seattle, he scheduled 1 ½ hours to sit with me and explain everything passing me some chocolates as he sat at his desk drawing pictures of how the surgery would progress.. I’ will be grateful all my life for making that switch. I pity people who are stuck with this poor quality of care in Tacoma, sadly, they could find something so vastly superior by going to Seattle. It was worth the drive and inconvenience to get treated with kindness, superior skill and compassion.
