I would like to say that even though the staff is very friendly and worth 5 stars for their attitudes, the wait time is ridiculous. I made an appointment for 2:20 this past Tuesday, I arrived at 2:00 to make sure I filled out the paper work quickly, I wasn’t called back to an exam room until 3:30! Then the tech asked the basic questions and I waited again till 4:00 for the clinician to come in, ask the exact same questions, all just to get a birth control prescription refilled. It was very frustrating.

I’ve been here several times because I use this clinic as a general care/check up place. The staff has always been wonderful and the doctors and nurse practitioners are kind, patient, and some have a good sense of humor. I had my first pap done here and the nurse practitioner talked me through it and made it as comfortable as it could have been for me. I’ve always managed to make my appointments when they’re not very busy, so if you can do the same then you can avoid wait times. But not everyone can do that. They do get busy in the evenings and weekends. That’s to be expected since they serve a large area. Sometimes there are protesters out front on the street. I’ve only experienced this once out of the 4 or 5 times I’ve been there. But the protesters wait for you to get out of your car and then yell at you for being a sinner. Fortunately, Planned Parenthood provides volunteers who escort you to and from your car with large umbrellas to try and shield you from the sight of the protesters. It really didn’t bother me that the protesters were there but I was pleasantly surprised and grateful for the volunteer service that the clinic provided for its customers. Overall, this clinic has been amazing and I will continue to use them for all of the services they can provide me.

I had a Nexplanon put in here(«the rod» if you’re not familiar. Low-dose birth control that’s inserted into your arm, good for three years, more effective than having your tubes tied). I had a great experience. Everyone that works there is very kind, and there’s a definite sense that they value their work. I had every question I had answered, every concern was addressed, and I was given all the information I need to make an informed choice about my body. They do good things here. Really good, valuable things. The people who work here deserve so much more appreciation than they get.
