Bought a washer via phone for my rental. Total came to $ 339. Washer came 4 days late, was leaking. Had to drive back and pick out another one. Drove to meet them at rental for replacement, then they told me original washer they brought was NOT broken, it was just installed wrong. It was 1 week of hassle. My renter was annoyed, so I refunded my renter $ 50 for inconvenience of laundromat fees. Asked Pochel’s to pay the $ 50, and they refused. So this whole ordeal of 1 washer cost me $ 389, 2 days of meeting them at the rental, 2 days of driving to Lakewood, 3 days of waiting for driver to tell me if he was going to deliver that day. Told Paul I’d write this review because he would not make things right, so here’s my review. Just go to to Lowe’s and buy a new appliance. Waaaay to much hassle and no savings on buying used, it took a week to get it there.

Had a range replaced with a used model(property manager’s decision), however, when it was delivered we quickly realized that it hadn’t been cleaned in any way– the inside is caked with food. Buyer beware when going the used route with them. Called to let them know and they couldn’t have cared less. Very poor attention to detail and customer service.

How do one celebrate the first day of Memorial Day 3-day weekend?!? You spend 2.5 hrs calling everyone one the web hoping they’re open and carry the products we need. Last night we found out our dryer no longer heats up. Nonetheless, we figured out the problem and began the search. After 10+ calls placed, I came across Pochel Appliance and they were open AND had our two parts we needed. We were willing to travel, otherwise we had to wait til Tuesday. I called and JJ helped me and set aside the parts, we arrived and there was nothing but great customer service along with integrity in they job, amazing ethics honesty. We were ready to purchase two parts, as mentioned. But when we presented the two parts, JJ went above and beyond to retest the parts we brought in(so there’s something we can compare to). Needless to say, JJ was honest and had the opportunity to take advantage of us by selling the two parts we requested, instead he went above and was more focused on customer service rather than making a few bucks more. This will be our go to place in the future of we need parts or anything other larger appliances. Honesty goes a long way and if they’ve been serving since 1940 and still in business, you know they’re doing something right. Mission accomplished, clothes are now dried and we’re all happy campers.

I would like people to know that the service I received from the customer service was horrible they came out to repair my fridge raider which I bought a week before they never repaired it they charge me $ 79 I had to fix it on my own I put a stop payment on my check they told me that they’re going to send me to collections because I repaired my own Frigidaire when they could not do it I recommend that anythat wants to go to the store be very careful they would not take care of you as far as customer service wise and they will sell you something that they know will break and then charge you to come out and try to fix it
