My husband and I decided to try this place for lunch. He asked for the 3 item combo. The guy starts to put a lot of noodles in half of the container and then begins to put in item 1. We wanted a curry dish which of course is soupy and would have been all over the other dishes. We asked for a separate container. The guy did not understand what we were saying. We went back and forth for several minutes. Finally a lady came from the back and told us it would be an additional dollar to do that. So we said thanks, but no thanks. We decided to just get the 2 item combo. I could not believe that they were going to cram in 3 different items(plus the noodles) in that tiny container. Everything would have been mixed together in one messy mush. We ended up with a spicy chicken dish w zucchini and onions. Way too salty. Couldn’t eat it. The other item was basil chicken but it was just pieces of fried chicken and no basil. It was ok but it should not have been called chicken basil. Needless to say, we will not be returning. It was so bad. I hate that they call that a Thai place. They offered more Chinese type items than Thai. And just because you offer pad Thai, does not automatically make everything else Thai. Save your money. Go elsewhere.

I went to the mall today and decided to eat at the food court. I chose this place because I was in the mood for some fried rice. The lady that helped me was very nice and attentive. I’m not sure if you can divide the plate up by having both rice/noodles,(because I didn’t see it listed) but she did it for me and that was nice of her. I ordered Mango chicken, Thai bbq, fried rice/noodles. The rice was pretty good, nothing special, the noodles were just ok, it didn’t have much flavor to them but it was edible. The mango chicken would have been a lot better had it been a bit more chewable. It was a bit too hard for my taste. The best food was the bbq. It was seasoned very well. I probably wouldn’t come back here as a first option, but overall, it was ok for a fast food type place on the go.

Great for Mall food and value. I tried several items and decided on the Red Chicken Curry. Nice and spicy but without the burn. Less adventurous souls might go for the Mild Yellow Curry. The food: Good and Fresh Drinks: coke products or tea Cleanliness: Good Service: Excellent Try the Mango chicken or Curried Beef. They both come with rice — steamed or fried. I’m sorry to say there is no brown rice and the white is a bit more done than I like. Overall this is a great Mall food stop and has great value.

I ordered a chicken basil fried rice. The cashier asked me how spicy I said medium. She went to the back for about 4 minutes and told me that they were out of EGGS and was that okay??? What kind of Asian restaurant that out of eggs? Especially when you are in the mall too. I told her I didn’t have a choice. Turned out she made a plain fried rice(picture below) with bean sprout carrot bean, no spices no hot sauce. And the second cashier did not even want to give me my changes. She went ahead and almost put my changes in their tip jar. For this kind of service and you wanted tip? Maybe they should hire someone who could understand English instead of trying to understand. Sad but their plain fried rice is even worse than panda express. Just ruined my Monday lunch. I would give a 0 star if there was an option.

Asked for a number three combo she gave me combo 2 okay cool. Then just put mango chicken in my meal when I didn’t even ask for it! The red curry chicken was soggy and had no flavor. I’m easy to please but this place sucked.

You wouldn’t expect good, fresh food in a mall’s food court, but this place is a really great value for the prices. They both have the trays of food on a steam bar that can be scooped out for you(pretty good) and they can make Pad Thai and a few other choices for you to order, and when you make that order, that’s just delightful. They also have Tom Yum Soup. The prices are lower than a sit-down Thai restaurant. The atmosphere is, well, the Tacoma Mall Food Court. So it’s loud when the mall’s busy, and it’s calm when it’s not.
