I absolutely LOVE Serenity!!! Been going for a few years & I am never disappointed. It’s such a relief to walk in & receive the best care & leave all my stress at the door. My body goes back into balance after my treatments. Annalise is the best massage therapist & Dr Krause is exceptional. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Highly recommend.

I’ve been going for about year now have had great massages from different therapists, but Deanna and Taylor were the best very professional and knew their job and technique very well. Keep up the great work… thank you.

Great first time experience. Petra was my masseuse and she did a very nice job taking me to a relax state of mind. Owners did a great job creating a relaxing/​sanitized environment. Will definitely be back and will highly recommend them. Thanks y’all!

Cassandra was awesome! Finally, a massage therapist who had the perfect pressure, wasn’t too «wimpy» with the touch! She listened to all my problem areas and requests for my back massage! She took the full hour for my neck and back like I requested! I definitely recommend her. All the staff was really nice and offered me tea right away. The atmosphere was inviting, I will definitely return!

Wow — this place is amazing! My husband and I were blessed enough to have a 4-​hour spa package gifted to us and Serenity did not disappoint.
When we arrived we were taken back to the beautiful decorated waiting area and given some fruit infused water to sip on while we waited for our appointments (we were a few minutes early).
We were greeted by the ladies that would be performing the services and they were both very friendly, professional, and did a phenomenal job with everything that they did for us.
We got massages, facials, body wraps, and were able to spend time in their steam-​room.
I highly recommend visiting this spa.

My sister and I got the detox facials here today and were very disappointed with the entire experience. I booked the facials a month ago and should of now with the booking experience itself. When I called to book the appointments I asked for two 2 hour detox facials. The lady I spoke with said they didn’t have 2 hours only 90 minutes so I booked the 90 minutes and suggested they update their spa services online as it stated they had them. She said she would. When I got the email confirmation it stated one massage so I called back and informed her that I had booked 2 90 minutes facials and clarified that there was 2 as the confirmation stated only one massage. She confirmed that there was 2 booked and to ignore the confirmation email. In the confirmation email I got yesterday confirming the facials it again only stated one but at least this time it had the correct service of facial and not massage. So I called again confirming that there was two 90 minute facials. They assured me there was. When we got there today we weren’t taken back until 10 minutes after our scheduled appointments were to start. We realized we were in the same room not a big deal being sisters, apparently they only have one facial machine which they never bothered to tell me when I scheduled the appointments. During the facial there was lots of noise kinda sounded like construction, but it was the garage. Every distracting with the loud noise every five minutes or so. When they said they were finished I was like that was a really short 90 minutes facial and they said oh you had 90 minutes we thought you had 60. They said they would go get more product and do 90 minutes. They came back put something on our faces and then gave us a 15 minute foot massage and called it done. Frankly this was the worst facial I have eve had. There was no neck or shoulder massage, did get a okay head massage, but everything under par. When we went to pay I told them that we wanted to pay for the 60 minute facial as we really didn’t get a full 90 minutes with starting late and then the explanation of us being in the same room and they only had one facial machine. The lady then became every rude and started to argue that we did indeed receive a full 90 minutes. My sister then jumped in and said she was willing to pay for the 90 minutes but let’s be honest we didn’t receive 90 minutes and to argue with us that we did was silly. She backed down and said we could pay for the 60 minute massage and that would be $ 90. Never once did anyone say they were sorry for the misunderstanding or anything. Felt like they couldn’t get us out of there fast enough. Needless to say we won’t be back

I was ‘told’ about Serenity Spa when my girlfriend posted a picture on Facebook with her feet in a foot soak with the caption, «Waiting for my Doctor». Soon after, I made an appointment and have been coming on a regular basis to see Jannine Krause ND ever since. Words cannot express the gratitude I hold for Jannine. She has supported me in making lasting healthy lifestyles changes which have allowed me to live a more comfortable, balanced and energy filled life. She is a true expert in her field and could teach classes to other medical professionals on how to provide top quality bedside manner.
I have never in my life received such excellent medical care. I have often been thrown prescriptions for every ache and pain however, with Jannine have been able to achieve health through holistic measures. This is not to say she won’t prescribe medication (i.e. antibiotics) if needed. I absolutely adore her and the staff at Serenity Spa and would recommend their services to anyone and everyone.

I love this place. My wife and I always leave feeling so happy and refreshed. They just always know exactly how to make my back feel great. Keep up the great work!

Lovely spa, but they should not be offering medical massage or acupuncture. They get you in right away to start RX prescribed treatment, but second visit? Acupuncturist doesn’t show up and next free appt is 3 weeks. Only new patients get in within the week? I need to find a new acupuncturist and start again if my knee is to heal. They should stick with lash tints, hot stones and facials.

It had been YEARS since my last massage. Taylor was very good, she worked my shoulders, upper back, and neck very well, I felt like a wet noodle after it was over. I can’t wait until my next appointment so I can have her really work my legs and feet, they will probably have to roll me out to my car. :-)

I’ve been coming here for a few years now. Today, as a special treatment for myself right before my wedding, I had a massage with Petra. Wow: she gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had! She gently/​firmly targeted areas of tension in my neck and overall made me feel relaxed and happy. I’d highly recommend this spa, but also highly recommend Petra — excellent masseuse!

Taylor did a brow and lash tint on me last week. Great color and such precision. I love this place with Sunday appointments and it is right down the street from me! Great addition to Tacoma. And Rhonda is the best.

Nicole was wonderful. She adjusted the amount of pressure skillfully. The time flew by just too fast. Very relaxing.

Everything about this place is absolutely fabulous.
This was my first ever time getting a massage & my husband booked me for a deep tissue massage.
There are little words to explain how much I enjoyed this & what an excellent establishment this is.
I can’t wait to come back!

I visited Serenity for the first time last night. The waiting room is so cute and relaxing. They offer you hot tea, fruit infused water, a warm neck wrap, and a warm foot bath while you wait. I got there 15 minutes before my appointment which allowed time to fill out the paperwork and enjoy a neck wrap and the waiting room. There are candles everywhere and it is very comfortable.
I got a 30 minutes massage with Nicki and it was fantastic. This was my first massage and I didn’t really know exactly what to expect. The massage bed is heated and very cozy. Nicki was very professional and I asked her to focus on my upper back and neck. She did just that. I wish I had booked her for an hour because it was fantastic and relaxing.
The only down side is that the massage room I was in was right next to the front desk so I could hear people coming in and out. There was relaxing music on during the massage, but I could still hear the background noise. Even the stapler haha! It didn’t bother me too much, but I can imagine that other guest would be turned off by that.

Natural health clinic meets luxury day spa. Serenity makes you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. I’ve had almost every service they offer and have enjoyed every one of them. The environment is relaxing, the staff is best in class, and the services and products are ever expanding. I look forward to my next visit!

I absolutely love this place and would definitely share my experience with family and friends. I come for acupuncture and massage once a week (I find that having my massage right after acupuncture is quite relaxing). I like the fact that they accept insurance (certain insurance), which is an added bonus if you ask me. When I’m having a bad day, I perk right up when I realize it’s going to be a spa day. :-)

This place is amazing! I suffer from acne pretty bad and I have tried everything. I went for a detox facial yesterday and Amee did such an amazing job. My face is smooth, my pores look smaller, and the redness is gone.
It’s a cute spa that is really relaxing that I would recommend for anyone to try out.

Love it here! Unlike the «spas» you see groupons for, this one actually is a real spa that has a very calming feeling inside and is beautifully decorated. While you wait, you can have a neckwrap or a foot soak — very nice (although the neck wraps have a slightly odd scent). They also have tea or water for you to drink while you wait. I had Taylor for both times I’ve been, and she did an amazing job.
I also once went for a couple’s massage with my boyfriend. His massage therapist (can’t remember her name) was also very good. You can also book the steam room/​shower for free for a half hour — and that’s a nice treat. I recommend doing it after the massage.
I really like the music they play here — all relaxing but a good mix.
