Subway

Food wasn’t bad… just the service! The girl behind the counter washer interested in the guy talking about his gluten free allergy than to take my order. When she finally did take my order,
It was rude and under her breath like I was bothering her for wanting to spend my money here. After ringing up my sandwich, she pretty much just threw it towards me and walked off without saying anything.
If you’re looking for service with a smile, you’re not going to get it here’!

There was really nothing wrong with my sandwich, it was the service that rubbed me the wrong way.
There was an older gentleman in front of me who was trying to to get his wife’s order right as he read it off of a piece of paper. He had ordered the new enchilada sub and I highly doubt that is what he was wanting (he was obviously a bit flustered and confused). The girl making the sub (who was incredibly rude and seems to have been mentioned on a previous review) started putting the frito chips on and he said, «oh, do those come with it,» and in a very snotty way she replied, «yeah this is what you ordered!» She made several more rude comments to him and basically laughed at him as well. I understand that the situation could have been frustrating for her, but come on, it was an old guy with hearing aides just trying to get his wife’s order right. It made me feel sad and uncomfortable to witness. She even made a joke at his expense to me when I was paying which I did not appreciate.
I will go back to this subway, since it is so close to my house, but I truly hope the management has some training about customer service.

I like this one and the hilltop one, the manager is great… Being skimped on well 15 years ago there was only 4 tomatoes, 8 pickles, and we are in a recession its called product management and ask and you shall receive I doubt she would tell you No. Say something like since im getting veggie delight can I have extra toppings and with her cute smile she will oblige. Idk maybe she is racist but she like me I do come in the morning before noon. She did tell me she works 6am to 6 pm so Id be a little stressed. I do believe Indians native to India do have a thing against so called white people the whole colony thing… but no excuses no complaints she gets the job done (yes the Indian, who speaks native english) she says hello and makes good with my kids. I will say working on the North in Tacoma there is alot of stressed out snobs and this is 15 years ago so imagine now! Hey becca go in and Ill buy you your next sandwich and see if you have the same experience… nope I dont work there, nope not doing the do with her, I just know a good person when I see one. This isnt a joke and I check on her often

This Subway recently got new management about a month ago and it’s HORRIBLE. I’ve been three times since the grand reopening and I’ve had poor service every time from a younger sandwich artist of Indian descent (and no, I’m not being racist). She always has a bad attitude was piss poor and mumbles her words so that when I ask «excuse me», she retorts with an exaggerated voice (it wasn’t just her foreign accent that made it sound exaggerated).
Tonight, I ordered a Black Forest Ham foot long of which she gave me four pieces of double-​stacked slices but spaced them so that there was a bare 3″ at the end of my sandwich with no meat. When I asked her to please space out the meat so that it’s more even, she became frustrated and sloppily spaced it out. She asked me what veggies I wanted, I replied with lettuce, spinach, cucumbers…[wait, did she really just put only FOUR pieces of spinach on the sandwich?] anyways, both peppers, NO! Not pepper, by both peppers I mean GREEN peppers and BANANA peppers. We hadn’t even touched on the sauces yet, let alone the rest of the veggies but I’d had it, I walked out on her before she even finished my sandwich. From the moment I walked in she didn’t have a smile, eager to serve you demeanor to her so I’m not particularly surprised I had another bad experience from her.
Its most frustrating to me because I live a block away and they’re conveniently open until 2am most nights. Hopefully management can resolve this issue of poor service from the sandwich artists they employ because it’d be nice to have somewhere to go late at night that offers a fresh and healthy menu at a decent price, but also good service too.

Its been 2 years since anyone has given their feedback on this location, but sadly that doesn’t mean the subway is gone. I stopped in today and what a waste of time and money, to start with they cut my bread so uneven the top was as thin as the cheese. and the hygiene of this place was so low. I could go on and on but just take these words of advice AVOID THIS SUBWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!

The worst subway of my life!!!
I love you subway… but this branch really did me wrong.
During my visit to Tacoma and Seattle I saw so many subways! Everywhere I turned, there was one! And somehow I managed to go into the worst one in the entire North West!
What kind of a subway doesn’t carry onions!!!
… not to mention their tomatoes were hideous
and the manager was completely oblivious and could have cared less.
«oh we don’t have onions?» is what she said to me.
agh.
But good news everyone, i checked their local store web page and it says its under new management.
Lets hope so.
