Massage by Kristal is amazing… She can always get deep into my muscles. I would recommend her to anybody. Dr Robert Stalder is pretty great too.

Appreciated Dr. Thorburn. Helped my back issue through a number of adjustments. Low rating because the billing administrative process was very frustrating.
Following all my appointments I asked the admin team twice if I needed to do anything for payment and she replied both times «Nope, you’re insurance has taken care of it». Fast forward 11 months later. I’ve moved out of state and about to change my number and get a call from Tacoma Chiropractic saying that they haven’t been able to fully process my claim because there was a holdup with some third party process with my insurance and I needed to call them. I understand TC has no control over that… my complaint would be that it took their admin team 11 months to figure that out and contact me. That seems like dropping the ball a bit.
I finally get everything cleared with my insurance and they send the process to TC. I get a bill from TC with a large total number. I call twice to ask for a break down of what those costs were. No returned call, and no breakdown of the costs. I finally gave up.
Like I said. Thought the doctor was great. Friendly people, but unprofessional administrative services soured it a bit.

I see Dr. Nick for chiropractic and PT, that’s actually why I chose it — he’s one of the few Graston practitioners in Tacoma and I find that type of massage/​PT really helpful for my migraines and tendonitis. The staff is really nice, they are good at checking about insurance issues and are competent, which is nice. My first visit, the enormous online form I had filled out and submitted didn’t arrive to them, lucky I had printed it out (which was kind hard) but I don’t think they really look at them much anyway, so don’t spend too long on it! :)

I have been going to Tacoma Chiropractic clinic for about three years now. I’ve always received excellent service, front desk staff is great, really nice office in the Proctor district area.
Monday I went in for a regular adjustment because my right leg was bothering me and Dr. Nick Thorburn immediately knew something wasn’t right and sent me for an ultrasound and it turned out I had a blood clot in my right leg from traveling on a long flight. If it wasn’t for Nick, I would have discarded the pain as a pulled muscle and could have easily resulted in a pulmonary embolism. He is so much more than just a phenomenal chiropractic doctor, but an amazing human being. I honestly don’t know how I’ll ever thank him for what he’s done. He also followed up and kept in touch with all of my ER doctors and vascular surgeons throughout the entire process. He’s absolutely amazing. And if he’s not your chiropractor, he should be. He literally saved my life.

This is a professional and caring group I’ve been fortunate to be cared for since they started at SJH. I highly recommend them
